The title says it all; I think it's time to acknowledge a growing problem that I've been noticing regarding PG Proposals. Now don't get me wrong; I think that overall, things have really been improving around here. Due to clamping down on how they're made and only allowing trusted users with certain credentials to do them, as well as making it necessary to give relevant and thoughtful reasoning behind votes, it seems we've had a lot less spam-like proposals and lazy votes, and that's definitely a good thing... for the most part. Unfortunately, it's come with a noticeable drawback, and while it's a somewhat inevitable one, nor is it anyone's fault, it really needs to be acknowledged.

A number of proposals are pretty much getting neglected al…

Alright, I've got just one more removal to do for now. After this, I plan on taking a break, or at the very least, really slowing it down after doing so many. For now, I feel like I've done enough clean up work to be satisfied, but I do hope to eventually get around to doing some proposals for characters I believe do deserve to be approved.

Oliver and Company is an animated film from 1988, and was the 27th to be released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is actually very loosely based on the classic Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist, with talking animals standing in as many of the main characters. In this version of the story, Oliver is a small, homeless and orphaned cat in New York City who eventually falls in with a group of dogs to survive …

Here's another removal for another character I'm kind of flabbergasted got added in the first place. In cases like this, I have to admit that I really wish I could just delete the category like I do with any other category that's clearly been abused since there shouldn't be much of an argument about its lack of applicability. It would save a lot of time and effort on my part, but rules are rules.

Well, it looks like I'm finally done with cleaning up the Toy Story characters that were incorrectly put in the category, but of course, there's still much to eventually be done, and to do my part, there's still at least a few more characters that were clearly only added as a result of clear category abuse or by people implementing much looser standards than they should be that I'm intent on removing. Since this character is a very minor one, this should be short and simple even for me.

I'm not sure this really requires much of an introduction, but here I go anyway; Spongebob Squarepants is an extremely popular and long-running American animated comedy series that was created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg, that d…

Alright, I believe I'm finally on the last Toy Story removal proposal that I have planned. And believe it or not, despite the character in question being a pretty minor one, I've saved them for last because they're actually the trixiest... er, sorry, the trickiest for me to decide on. In fact, this could have just as easily been a regular proposal. Presenting it like a removal just made the most sense to me, strictly speaking. And don't worry... I won't be filling it with any more of my lame jokes. I just had to get that one out of my system.
