Having beat Echoes of Wisdom, I'm convinced he qualifies, so here we go,
What's the work?
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the 21st main installment in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise. It follows Zelda on her quest to save the world and Tri's friends from Null's rifts.
Who is he?/What has he done?
Link is the game's tritagonist. He is a swordsman who grew up in Southorn Village.
At the start of the game, he infiltrates a dungeon and fights his way through lots of enemies. When he defeats an Echo of Ganon, he shoots an arrow at Zelda's crystal and frees her just before being sucked into the rift.
He isn't seen again until the game's climax, where he receives the Triforce of Courage after Null attempts to take the full artefact. After opening a door within Null's core, he and Zelda later go through a tedious dungeon together, and work together to save the world from Null using the full Triforce.
Mitigating Factors
While he does not speak, there is still no indication that he is amoral, and he doesn't really have any corrupting qualities given that he kills in self-defense, and any other ones are dependent on the player's choice given he's playable for a few minutes at the start of the game.
Admirable Standard
Passes. He (along with Zelda) saves the world from Null, an omnicidal maniac who wanted to erase everything but itself from existence, while even predating Demise. It's also worth noting that they had also saved the rifts victims from a FWTD by defeating Null, which is not Fridge Brilliance, as the victims are shown petrified and mute. While Zelda does do more, she does have stronger resources than Link as she has access to the Tri Rod and can summon echoes of very powerful monsters.
Final Verdict?
A weak yes from me.
