Who is he/What's the work[]
Phoenix Wright is the main protagonist of the visual novel series, Ace Attorney. He is one of the 3 main defense lawyers of the series.
Why he doesn't qualify[]
The main problem is that he can act like a jerk from time to time. In The Stolen Turnabout, He calls Maya's box a "poor excuse for a box". In Recipe for Turnabout, he doesn't help Maya when she is being dragged away by Jean Armstrong. He then considers laughing about it. In Bridge to the Turnabout, he refuses to take Maya and Pearl to Eagle Mountain, only changing his mind for pragmatic reasons. He also teases Maya's obsession with the Steel Samurai throughout the series. Another problem is that he does illegal things, albeit rarely. For example, In Turnabout Memories, he outright lies to the court, which is considered a horrible thing in the series. In Turnabout Trump, he gives forged evidence to Apollo. In that same case, he teased Kristoph Gavin, saying "Oh, is the 'Coolest Defense in the West' losing his cool?"
And then there's Farewell, my Turnabout Oh God. Here, he helps the culprit, Matt Engarde. sure, he has no choice as the culprit blackmailed him into doing it by threatening Maya, but it's made clear that she is ok with getting killed if Matt got a guilty verdict.
Final Verdict[]
While he is an honorable lawyer, he has moments that disqualify him from Pure Good. Easy Cut.
