~ V quoting Uzi during her fight with J. |
Serial Designation V, more commonly known as V, is the tritagonist of the web series Murder Drones. She is a Disassembly Drone-like vampire created by JC Jenson for the purpose of eliminating the Worker Drones of Copper 9.
She was a former member of J's squad, along with N, until the latter's sudden alignment with a rebellious Worker Drone named Uzi ultimately led to J's destruction and her capture when they were attempting to destroy her colony, with her slowly warming up to Uzi and N and joining their side as an anti-hero.
She is voiced by Nola Klop, who also voices Poppy Playtime from Poppy Playtime. She was also voiced by Ana Helena de Freitas for the Brazilian dub, Sventlana Amanova in the Russian dub, Lucía Suárez in the Latin American dub, Nrhir Yidiz in the Turkish dub, and by Aliona Bilousove in the Ukrainian dub.
Appearance[]
V, as a disassembly drone, has metal wings that allow her to fly, and the ability to change her hands into weapons.
Personality[]
V appears to be a ruthless and sociopathic drone who is incredibly savage and greatly enjoys brutally murdering worker drones. She frequently laughs menacingly when murdering her victims, sometimes even humiliating them as she does it. Despite this, she is capable of expressing some empathy, as when N was upset after an encounter with Uzi and the Absolute Solver, V hides the fact that the chains holding her captive are broken. Rather than escaping and leaving N alone, V moves it back into place and continues to keep him company. On top of that, she is shown to be somewhat affected by his sadness, which shows that she does care for N even if she doesn't understand his behavior.
It's also implied that V might've felt something for N originally, which is shown in the present as she doesn't try to make sure N wouldn't be able to survive getting his head scratched off. While she initially wanted to kill the Worker Drones at their prom so they could survive, she was taken aback and seemingly touched that she was voted prom queen via Lizzy's request. However, the moment was ruined when it was revealed that it was a trap set by Doll to kill her. Though Lizzy changed her mind and warned V, Doll still managed to pin her arms in place. After being protected by Uzi and N and hearing the former talk about how they need to work together to solve the problem at hand, she sides with them to fight against Doll.
After joining Uzi's side, V still remains just as ruthless as before, killing a Worker Drone for not answering N, which N himself criticized her for, and threatening to kill Uzi if she dared coming close to N. After finding out about Uzi's similarities to Cyn, V tries to kill Uzi, although she decides not to after seeing that N and Uzi had a great bond between them, even lying that she killed the Worker Drones Uzi murdered while possessed by the Absolute Solver. After seeing just how much the Solver had corrupted Uzi, V tries to stop her from using its powers, and as she is about to give her life to protect the rest of the group, she tells Uzi that she trusts her.
Biography[]
She then laughs maniacally and says "And yet... I still feel nothing". N tries telling her about the planet's toxic death storm, but V promptly says "Oh god! Who are you?" and then flies away. Later, she arrives at the Disassembly Drones lair and spots Uzi running away and says "Yo! We got a worker out there I kinda want to practice balloon animal shapes with!". After saying this, V looks around the Worker Drones' lair and asks what happened, to which J replies that N must have tripped and gone offline. After J rebooted N's systems, then runs off to retrieve the railgun Uzi has, and V sticks out a red and orange flag from her arm saying "Literally so insanely suspicious".
She realizes that the ventilation shafts can take them right through the last door and flies into it to murder some worker drones. V is about to kill Thad when both N and Uzi arrive and a fight ensues between V and N while Uzi fights with J. During the battle, N gets pinned down by V and sees that Uzi is about to get killed by J, so N licks V's sword to disorient V, to which V says "Ew! What the hell?!" before N kicks her, slamming her to the ground. V would then gets tied up by N with her own tail, and N later takes V away with him as he leaves with Uzi back to the landing pod.
V would then appear in what would seem like a flashback or a dream of N's, where she and N are Worker Drone servants at a mansion. V would bump into N and they then exchange a spark at their hands when both of them touch, both V and N would look nervously at each other right before J kicks N. The flashback or dream of N ends, and V is in the pod with Uzi, where V calls Uzi's eye weird and concerning. V would then mention to Uzi how she states her kind is innocent, but Uzi wants to kill all humans, a fight almost occurs but N is able to pull Uzi away from V. After the fight with the Absolute Solver, N returns to the pod sad, where V asks why she's being punished. N stays silent, and for a moment a look of empathy shows on V's face, but quickly disappears when V looks down at her chains, which she's hiding the fact that they're broken, and V looks away from N in annoyance.
V is in the Murder Drone ship with N and two skeletons, a male wearing a tuxedo, and a female wearing a red dress. N states he wants to look dapper and also says how V had him go and get the skeletons. V states her plan to trick Uzi into letting both N and her in because of the prom happening that night and kill everyone in the bunker, but N refuses to let V do the plan. V then asks N to stop prying into Uzi's strange abilities and says if she goes to the prom, she'll only kill what is needed to survive. N still refuses to allow V to go and says that they're too dangerous to be in contact with the workers. N then asks V if she's hiding anything and if he can help her, to which V then slices N's head off. With V's chain being broken, she puts the dress on and heads to the bunker to kill all the worker drones.
V flies threw the ceiling and lands on the prom stage in the red dress which shocks and scares many of the Workers attending the prom. V's introduced by Lizzy and is called the prom queen by default since the other Workers went missing, and tells the workers that V has changed and is no longer a threat. V then starts to walk forward to the microphone while talking about the gullible nature of the Worker Drones and is about to go on a murderous rampage when she realizes she's the prom queen. Upon realizing this V decides to murder the Workers after the pro and walks up to the microphone when suddenly Doll forces pipes from under the stage threw V's arms and chest pinning her in place.
V manages to get her right arm free and starts shooting Doll with her machine gun hands, but the bullets have no effect on Doll and she then throws a knife with her abilities and cuts V's arm off. Doll then pulls the ceiling fan off the ceiling and is about to throw it at V when suddenly both N and Uzi arrive by flying through the ceiling. Doll then throws the ceiling fan at V but knocks it away in time. Uzi tries to reason with Doll by saying fighting won't get them anywhere but Doll doesn't care and is only focused on killing V. Since Uzi and N were in the way she attacks all three by throwing two more metal ceiling fans at them, N is able to push Uzi out of the way but both he and V are badly cut up.
Both N and V are retrieving their body parts while Uzi's fighting Doll. V manages to get her body back together and sneaks up behind Doll while Doll's fighting N and Uzi and when Doll's distracted V fires a single shot threw Doll's head, appearing to have killed her. Uzi voices her displeasure with Doll being shot since she wanted to get information from her, but then finds a key to Doll's room. Upon entering the room they find all the missing Worker Drone bodies. While exploring Doll's room N finds the remnants of Doll's parents which Doll then teleports into the room, while also fixing the bullet hole in her head. Doll tries to throw the bullet at Uzi but Uzi stops the bullet in mid-air with her abilities. Once Doll realizes Uzi has the same abilities as herself she agrees to help if she finds what she's looking for, and teleports away right as V tries again to kill her.
Both N and V would later keep the other students busy while the real mission was for Uzi to investigate and learn more about the Absolute Solver at Camp 98.7. V revealed to show some suspicion of Uzi due to her being connected to the Absolute Solver and her unknown past involved with it then tells her to focus rather than spying on them and the classmates but also threatens to kill her if she is to be near the group again, telling her that N would have moved on from her. V and the other classmates would later notice Uzi when N mistakenly shouts for her to come out of hiding with Braidon mistakenly shooting an arrow at Uzi, for her to use her Absolute Solver powers to stop the arrow but mistakenly mutates it into a structure of eldritch organic flesh much to V's horror coming true to her. Uzi would later run off as V is determined to kill her but N gets in the way berating her for not informing him about what was going on and that she is only a child like themselves then gets told to watch the students, but V tells them to do whatever they want and flies off to pursue and murder Uzi, but she had already mutated and started killing Worker Drones.
She later appears stopping a now out-of-control monstrous Uzi from attempting to kill Lizzy, weakening her. V approaches Uzi who she now regards as "Cyn" as she attempts to kill her, only for Uzi to mutate again and brutally overpower her in the process. Just as Uzi is about to stab V to death with her own nanite syringe, N appears and prevents her from doing so, tossing her to the sky. She then criticizes V for her actions then flies off to have a therapy talk with Uzi, leaving V disappointed. At the moment Uzi and N land, V prepares for her rematch against Uzi but noticed N has it under control, but with a concerned expression on her face. Uzi, N, and V later returned to the bus with the remaining campers with the Teacher asking about the other missing campers, which V takes the blame for Uzi's killings by saying she ate them because she was hungry.

Trivia[]
- V serves as the mascot as she was featured in the first official teaser trailer of it, making her the first character to be revealed to the public.
- Klop also worked with Michael Kovach (the actor of N) in the horror game Poppy Playtime.
- Before V joined protagonists in episode 3, it was implied that she would change sides through promotional artwork that seems to depict her fighting alongside Uzi and N rather than against them.
- This was further supported at the end of the second episode when she notices the chain restraining her is broken but pretends that it isn't and continues to keep a depressed N company.
- It's worth noting that while N and J's personalities remained mostly the same when they were turned from Worker Drones to Disassembly Drones, V's personality changed greatly from being a shy and kind girl to a sinister and psychopathic individual. It could be possible that something happened to V specifically when being remade.
- V appears to be germophobic, as she was disgusted enough by N licking her blades to the point of letting her guard down.
- It’s implied that V shares N’s love of dogs.
