Valerie Brown is a member of the band Josie and the Pussycats.
Appearance[]
Valerie has dark skin, a black curly bob, brown skin and black irises.
Her primary wardrobe is a purple sleeveless short dress with a belt to match her dress, pink long sleeve button shirt underneath, matching collar and purple mary jane shoes.
In the musical sequences, she wears a feline suit, and she plays the tambourine.
Other Appearances[]
In Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space and like Josie and Melody Valerie wears a golden yellow space suit with an orange sailor collar and a matching belt with the Pussycat buckle and brown boots.
Personality[]
Valerie uses her genius intellect to help the gang solve mysteries and subdue villains, much like Velma Dinkley before her and Dee Dee Skyes after her. She also has a doppelganger named Princess Milwila.
Trivia[]
She is voiced by Barbara Pariot, and her singing voice was done by the late Patrice Holloway. In the 2001 movie, she is portrayed by Rosario Dawson, who also played Mimi Marquez in RENT, Laura Vasquez in Men In Black II, Batgirl in The LEGO Batman Movie, Nyx in Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast, Claire Temple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Film Universe, Gabbie in Haunted Mansion, Lily Drawl in the Syndicate 2012 game and Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka.
