Vellian Crowler

Dr. Vellian Crowler is a major character in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. He has often hated Jaden Yuki, and tried to get rid of him, but later he gave up on that intention.

History

After Dr. Crowler started his career at Duel Academy, he became the head of the Obelisk Blue. And when Jaden Yuki tried to get into Duel Academy to study, he got to face him during the exam. His Ancient Gear Duel Monsters were very powerful, but Jaden managed to defeat him and enter the Duel Academy. Later, when he started paralyzing Jaden, he tried to drive him out of Duel Academy, and no matter how hard he tried and weaved a villainous plot into it, his attempts to drive Jaden out of Duel Academy have always slipped out of control. He later gave up his attempt to drive Jaden from Duel Academy. He even had to fight to protect the Sacred Beast Cards from the Shadow Riders, but he lost his key to the Shadow Rider vampire Camula, but Jaden later saved his and Zane's souls by defeating Camula.

Later, when Jean-Louis Bonaparte became the Vice Chancellor of Duel Academy, he got into conflict with him, even when the Slifer Reds' dormitory was in danger of being demolished. He even ended up with all the students and staff of Duel Academy in an alternate dimension where the spirits of the Duel Monsters resided, and he tried with the others to return to his own dimension, and although he turned into a Duel Ghoul while performing the return to his own dimension, he reverted back when Jaden and Jesse Anderson defeated a nasty Duel Monster Spirit named Yubel. But he ended up back in the alternate dimension with Adrian Gecko's friend, Ms. Echo, when Jaden went with his friends to find Jesse. Then when he found Jaden with his friends, they continued to search for Jesse, and found Jesse possessed by Yubel, and when Jaden faced Yubel himself, the only hope for him and the others to return home was if Jaden defeated Yubel. And when Jaden and Yubel's duel ended, he went back home with Jaden's friends. Then when Jaden also came back, he continued to teach the students of Duel Academy until Jaden and the rest of his friends graduated from Duel Academy.
