Quick to Adjust, better known as Vergil, is a minor protagonist in the 2009 video game Halo 3: ODST. He is a renegade Covenant Huragok who, after assimilating the Superintendent AI's "Vergil" subroutine, becomes an important ally to Veronica Dare and Edward Buck's team of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, providing vital information about the Covenant he was once a part of. He also provided repairs and augmentations to their vehicles to better defend themselves from pursuing Covenant forces.
Biography[]
Quick was sent to New Mombasa on Earth and downloaded the city's main Superintendent. He later went to help a girl known as Sadie Endesha to look for family and escape from the Covenant. Quick, now known as Vergil, later went into hiding from the Jiralhanae after they betrayed the Sangheili.
