Veronica Gorloisen is a powerful sorceress, Balthazar's love interest, and also one of the three apprentices chosen by the noble wizard Merlin, on a mission to stop the evil witch Morgana le Fey.
She is portrayed by Monica Bellucci.
History
Veronica was one of the three apprentices of Merlin. Both of her fellow sorcerers, Balthazar Blake, and Maxim Horvath had feelings for her, but she loved Balthazar, which unfortunatly resulted in Horvath turning on her, and joining Morgana. Veronica and Balthazar went on many adventures together. When Morgana killed Merlin, and was about to kill Blake, Veronica, merged the evil sorceress's spirit into her own body through the Fusion Spell to save Balthazar. But Morgana began to kill her from the inside, so Balthazar trapped them both into the Grimhold.
Released from the Grimhold
1,000 years later, Horvath freed Morgana (still trapped in Veronica's body) from the Grimhold. Veronica had completely been possesed by Morgana, and was beginning the ritual for The Rising. Balthazar came to her rescue, taking Morgana's spirit into himself. He told Dave to trap him in the doll and stop Morgana, but Dave refused, as did Veronica. In the end the two are reunited, and Balthazar gives his girlfriend the necklace he'd been wanting to give her the day that she had been trapped in the Grimhold.
