She first appeared when Sunset lied to her that Twilight trashed the Fall Formal in the gymnasium. Later, she interrogates Twilight about the destroyed Fall Formal decorations. After Flash bringing the evidence to her, she allows her to continue running. During the Fall Formal, she bears both the envelope's winner name and the Fall Formal crown's box. After Twilight defeats Sunset, she punishes Sunset and her lackeys, Snips and Snails to repair the damage she caused with the school.

She and her sister overseeing her students working on signs and posters for CHS Musical Showcase. After the Dazzlings arrived at Canterlot High, the Rainbooms tried to warn her and Celestia, but they're already brainwashed. During the Battle of the Bands, she and Celestia disfavoring the Rainbooms due to the Dazzlings' brainwashing.

Vice Principal Luna and her sister first appeared during the pep rally. She later tasks Sunset to make sure the magic stays out of the Friendship Games so the Wondercolts aren't accused of cheating.
