Biography[]
Past[]
Victor Voychek took part in the Estovakian Civil War on the side of the Eastern Faction, which eventually won the war.
Fires of Liberation[]
When Estovakia invaded the Republic of Emmeria, Voychek led the Strigon Team during the attack on the Emmerian capital of Gracemeria. During the battle, he was shot down by an Emmerian pilot Talisman. Unable to pilot a plane due to his injury anymore, he was transferred to the intelligence bureau and interrogated Emmerian POWs.
One day, as he was examining the city castle, his briefcase containing confidential information was stolen by a street child. He chased after the thief, ending up in the catacombs below the city, where the street children had hidden the Golden King statue, their country's symbol, from the occupiers. Coincidentally, the fortification constructions on the ground triggered the defense mechanisms that trapped the Estovakian soldier and the children with the catacombs. After getting his briefcase back, he examined the documents inside it and realized, to his horror, that Estovakians had plans to destroy Gracemeria with the Chandelier railgun. He and the children were rescued by an Emmerian tank crew led by sergeant McKnight.
After Emmeria liberated Gracemeria and repelled an attack on it, Voychek revealed to two survivors of the war, Matilda and Melissa Herman, that the capital would end up getting destroyed anyway. While he was initially reluctant to reveal more details, feeling a sense of duty to his country, he was reconvinced by Ludmila Tolstaya, the fiancee of one of his wingmen, Toscha Mijasik. Realizing that this was the right thing to do, Voychek revealed the Chandelier blueprints, which helped the Emmerian forces destroy the railgun and save Gracemeria.
After the war ended, Victor Voychek attended Toscha and Ludmila's wedding in a prison camp, feeling happy for the two newlyweds and relieved that he would soon return home.
