Victory (Miraculous Ladybug)

Camilla Hombee who is known with the superhero identity as Victory is a supporting character in Miraculous New York. She serves as the current elected President of the United States of America (POTUS), thus making her Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces, with access to the Presidential nuclear football connected to the USA nuclear arsenal.

She was voiced by Laura Stahl.

Appearance[]

Physical Appearance[]

Camilla is a dark-skinned woman. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair that is cut short and combed to the right side.

Civilian Attire[]

Camilla wears a violet colored full sleeved jacket with a grey dress and border. She wears a white pearl necklace around her neck and white pearl ear stud on her ears. Her jacket has a badge of an American flag, which is common for the POTUS to wear at all times.

As Victory[]

Her superheroine suit is designed on the Flag of the United States, sporting a Stars and Stripes motive to it. Her shield is triangle-shaped with a small "V" indentation in the top-middle of it.

Personality[]

As Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces and POTUS, Camilla is very strict, disciplined, and upholds her duties as the leader of the free world to the letter. When Miraclonizer uses the Eagle Miraculous' Liberation to free her of those restraints and duties, Victory becomes mad with power, going so far as to use her own nuclear football to unleash several of her own ballistic missiles, without their nuclear warheads of course, on New York City, devastating it. Once Eagle restores her to normal, Victory is horrified by when the nuke Miraclonizer stole after taking the nuclear football from her threatens to ignite the Third World War if it strikes Moscow or another capital of a fellow nuclear state, as she'll be blamed for causing Armageddon due to her status as POTUS.

After Ladybug and Cat Noir helped stop Techno-Pirate and save the rest of the United Heroez with Uncanny Valley and Eagle, Camilla ensures the Franco-American Friendship Festival goes as intended and even pays tribute to Ladybug and Cat Noir for saving the world by having fellow superhero Snowflake create an ice sculpture of them with Uncanny and Eagle.

When the Miraculized attack, Victory takes the helm to help protect her countrymen and free them from the Alliance Rings that turned them into Miraculized in the first place with the rest of the United Heroez until they head to Paris to help there, joining the Resistance, Ladydragon, and the Guardians to fight off the Miraculized for as long as they can until Monarch was defeated and Ladybug fixed all the damage.

Abilities[]

Being the president, Camilla has skills in politics, communication and leadership. As Victory, she carries a shield in battle and has access to a countless number of military weapons hidden in secret compartments throughout New York City.

Relationships[]

As co-leader of the United Heroez and POTUS, Camilla's relationships with Majestia and Knightowl is one of both business and friendship. When in their civilian identities, Camilla treats her fellow heroes with respect and dignity. In their superhero forms, they work together with teamwork and strategy to ensure their triumph over their opponents.
Camilla is aware of Ladybug's Miraculous Ladybug, and she puts trust in the ability to revert everything to normal after using a powerful and destructive attack on the Trash Krakken. However, she sees Ladybug in an inferior light, describing her as "the superheroes' cleaning lady" and considering akumatized villains to be nowhere near as serious or dangerous as other types of villains. Additionally, though she listens to Ladybug's questions and concerns about her plan to defeating the Trash Krakken, she doesn't think them over, strongly feeling like the current plan is the one option they have. However, she believes in Ladybug as an essential role for the superheroes' success to save New York City. She shows respect towards Ladybug after Ladybug finds another solution that defeats the Trash Krakken, and she assures her that scientists will look into the unknown black substance that created the monster as she leaves.
