Vikir Van Baskerville known by his disguise alias, Night-Blood Hound is the main protagonist of the 2020 light novel and the 2023 manhwa series of the same name, Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound.
His story complex with vengeance as his past life was falsely charged and framed for his cooperation with the demons and later sentenced to Guillotine to pay for his false charges, he later regressed to a new life after he vowed to never become a family's hound and take revenge who caused his demise of his fall in his past life.
Considering one of the most influential and well respected among the family Clan especially his own father and siblings especially outside of his peers and alliances. Since his regression and his chance of a second life would give him the opportunity to change the course of history and events that will impact his overall journey.

Vikir's appearance is well good build, his eyes resembles of a red amber eyes, compared to his past life, he is appeared to have battle scars on his face, signifying the missions and battles he was sent to accomplish under his father.
He was regressed as an infant, giving him the personality and the memories he once gained in his past life. At the age of 8, his growth has shown significantly with great body appearance whilst under the training from his superiors to strengthen his mind. In the later years of his adolescence, he grew taller than most of adults around him, as his well built body progressed due to his brutal and rigorous training. Camus, his wife, described his appearance as a well good looking handsome man when they both met again after their duel by their father.
In the later years as everyone thought he was dead, he stayed with the Ballaks Clan after his failed defeat to Madam Long Legs, he later returned to the Empire, after series of quests and conflicts he faced with the Ballaks as a Hero and Commander.
After his news of return, his father later sent him to Colosseo academy, in order to gain better experience and new adventures within, but under the identity of different appearance but was later fallen in love due to his error of showing his face after removing the glasses he's masking to avoid attention.
As Night Hound[]
Despite its name as an enigmatic figure known to spread terror, Vikir used it as a guise to operate as a vigilante pursuing justice and vengance as he carries his dark past as well as concealing his identity. His appearance wears a dark cloak and a plague doctor mask. This kind of clothing and appearance makes it usable for stealth and combat.

After being sentence to death, he was later regressed as an infant, as his memories and experienced still intact within him, influencing the personality he's developing. Throughout his life from childhood to adolescence, his maturity has grown as he often thinks outside the box, knowing on what's going to happen to the events that will unfold in years time as he plans to become stronger and inevitably dangerous than his peers as the events impacts those around him.

Vikir is mostly described by many as he is entirely almost emotionless as he only thinks to end the demons wrath to enslave the humanity. He is more decisive and often give a cold personality like the way he changes the impact of his feud with his step triplets from intimidating to respecting him as he is mostly calm and very informative in the face of dangers and situations.

Vikir's talents and indomitable will is shown to be extremely intelligent, often with with a display of Strategic and Tactical Intelligence overflowing with combat intelligence, battlefield awareness and formation that he has learned over the years as this was honed in his past life as he is the family's hunting predator. In his pre regressed life, he showed the determination of unwavering unquestionable loyalty to his family and the clan itself, leading to a demise of betrayal and distrust as he vowed to take vengeance allowing him to have a new perspective after regaining a second chance to regress understanding the complex of human nature with careful understanding strategically, using it to reclaim his power. Often as he showed harsh and cold personality in his exterior, he later exhibits a genuine care for the few he trusts, even his long lost niece, Pomeranian La Baskerville who shows warmth and protectiveness as his dedication to the family, despite strained, have deep rooted desire for acceptance and justice.
Background[]
Born as the Illegitimate son of Hugo Le Baskerville and his concubine, Van, marked him as an outside to the entire family clan structure that separates him from his legitimate half siblings. This overturned as his Talents and Abilities propelled him thru a brutal exam making him a formidable warrior in early ages of indication of demons, swordsmen, warriors and conflicts of betrayals, vengeance and injustice or justice. Compared to his previous life, he was never able to absorb River Styx as an infant due to his legitimate siblings.
In the age of 8 years old, he was later talented enough outside but he is still ordinary in the family, later on to his adolescence, he later accumulate the circle of mana, a process of fainted sword and barely manage to defeat a hellhound in the age of 18. By the time he become 20 years old, he gained the skills of assassination, Infiltration, espionage, military tactical and strategic battlefield and awareness as nevertheless he wanted to be acknowledge by his legitimate father and his clan. In his mission to the dungeon where he discovered the missing part of the Lurking embedded teeth, a Baskerville technique that can be accessed to the higher ups as his father got the hands of the contents, he later sent Vikir and other bloodhounds to find the other missing pages in numerous missions as Vikir eventually manage to collect all the missing contents as he memorizes the information skillfully. He was never able to access higher information as he only manage to do the 4th Fan Technique.
At the age of 29, he believed he had attained the pinnacle of his swordsmanship in comparison to others in his direct lineage. Later in his age of 30, the Demons real has opened to the Human World, marking the era of Destruction of Demon Invasion. In the last 5 years after the Era of Destruction, he endured sufferable with great losses while slaughtering demons left and right till its end as he was later rewarded for loyalty with defamation of false accusation, charged for associating and cooperating with the demons. While attempting to flee, he was later caught by his fathers trident and later beheaded by the guillotines blade, before his death, he made a vow to vengeance and will never server as the Clans hunting dog.
Vikirs story and journey has upheld by ceaseless and brutal hardships, enduring the trials and examinations the family gave known for their ruthless training and no mercy for their deaths. As he proved loyalty in highest stakes of missions particularly spying, assassination, combat and warfare intelligence-later proved to be betrayed by his own and sentenced to death, fortunately, fate gave him a second chance through regression allowing the chance to rewrite his history.

Hugo Le Baskerville[]
Regarding as both father and head of the Baskerville clan, it is notable that Vikir is the Illegitimate son to the patriarch, known for his cold, ruthless and Authoritarian Utilitarism outlook and power, as he first evaluate his family and members as tools for political opportunities and war in the Clan's goals. This made Vikir emotionally detach because of complex and strained emotional relationships towards his father. Despite the exterior outlook, his past sheds layers of complex grief, anger and vulnerability due to his love late wife, Roxanna and his missing daughter, Penelope, who later died at the hands of Rokoko Tribe. After the existence of Pomeranian, the granddaughter of Hugo, his personality softens showing a side that Vikir cant understand as if its unrecognizable. This later revised of vikirs concept of thinking as he considers antagonizing his father but later showed signs of redemption of character.
Osiris Le Baskerville[]
Vikirs viewed him as cold and detached figure despite holding Immense power and influence within the family clan, both in politics and socialization. As the heir to the family, he has been excepted to be perfection and authority, that which Vikir couldn't meet before his transgression. Prior to his transgression, his understanding towards Osiris became different, he showed aloof and strict demeanor but recognize the single signs of humanity within him. Vikirs notice on his older half sibling's awkward moments as he struggles to do simple tasks as it is to shown a revealing side of him as less perfect and more relatable. Despite his outlook of authoritative tone, he showed to be helpful na doffer advices to his younger brother. He may show an authoritarian personality, but he also shows to look out for his brothers.
Chihuahua Baskerville[]
While not a member of the Baskerville family, he proved to be one of the loyal Allies to Vikir. Considering himself as an outsider of the family clan, Chuchua's experience of discrimination resonates the family struggles of Vikir as he was valued to be reliable and hard work. His unwavering dedication to Vikir and his family, reflected his gratitude to be given trust and respect that contrast the hostile environment within the household.
Pigi[]
Despite being a roommate and having a timid personality, his kindness and genuine demeanor earned the respect from Vikir as he is viewed as a role model despite showing integrity and and supportive as Vikir steps in to help during the moments.
Sancho Barataria[]
Originally viewed Vikir as a rival while being a competitive student, he later grew to respect him. Their friendship starts with Sancho who realizes Vikir's overwhelming physical capabilities despite his assumption appearance. His admiration towards vikir has deepened over time recognizing his gifted talent and strategic mind as an asset.
Tudor Don Quixote[]
Another ally that vikir gained as he admire his exceptional perception and intellect especially perseverance. He sides along with Vikir and Sancho in supportive environment. His unwavering loyalty to the group, and acts as a mediator among them that helps strengthen their bond as a group.
Camus Morgue[]
Her complexity with Vikir has marked an obsession, tragedy and absolute transformation. As a member of the morgue family, she is consumed by guilt and misery following to Vikir's presumed death in the red and black mountains. Her search for him has become more desperate and later join the dark Faction as she abandons the light faction which desire her to bring vikir back that reflected her unwavering commitment and her willingness to sacrifice for vikir. Her confrontation with vikir has developed an emotional confrontation and ideological beliefs/chasm.

Her relationship with vikir shares a complex and personal bond, wavering her loyalty and admiration to him that later turns into a romantic love. Her determination that stands with him, lead her to defy her traditional norms and take risks. Her persistence and personal connection compels her connection with vikir which her actions highlight her protective and caring nature. Vikir admired her strengths and resourcefulness though his stoic nature has created emotional barrier between them.

She is well expertise on financial and resourcefull as she has multifaced relationship with vikir as she often assist him with her logistics and planning, primarily on managing sponsors or funding. Sinclaire is one of the closes confidantes towards vikir as her empathetic and inquisitve nature in her personality. Her internal view is both marked by frustration of personality and admiration of strength and resilience yet she deepens their friendship. Her attempt to connect with Vikir on a deeper level frequently leads in hilarious or emotional encounters that show her insistent yet compassionate demeanour. She represents a sens e of normalcy and camadarie in Vikir's life, as they both stabilize influence.
