Lt. Vincent Hanna is one of the two main protagonists in Heat (1995). He was the local LAPD superintendent who took charge of the investigation through the heists committed by Neil McCauley and his crew.

Throughout his storyline, Lieutenant Hanna (Al Pacino) attempts to track down McCauley as he deals with the chaos in his own life, including the infidelity of his wife (Diane Venora) the worries and fears of his Girlfriend Chey and the mental health of his stepdaughter (Natalie Portman). McCauley and Hanna discover a mutual respect, even as they try to thwart each other's plans.

He was played by Al Pacino.
