Vista, also known as Vista of the Flower Swords, a male character in the anime and manga series One Piece. He was voiced by Masaya Takatsuka in the Japanese version of the anime, and Hunter Barnett in the English version of the anime.
Abilities[]
He was a master swordsman and a pirate who was a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, serving as the Commander of the Fifth Division.
He's a master swordsman, with Marco being confident in sending him to clash with Dracule Mihawk, who was renowned as the Greatest Swordsman in the World. While his full ability is unknown, he seems to be extremely powerful and famous because of his ability to equal Mihawk who was well aware of him and his epithet.
Personality[]
Like everyone on Whitebeard's crew, he viewed Whitebeard like a father, and was willing to do anything for him, even risk his life to save Portgas D. Ace from execution at the hands of the Marines.
As a swordsman, he voiced his desire to meet Mihawk and clash with him to see where he stood as a warrior.
Appearance[]
Vista is an extremely tall, extremely muscular man, with a hairy chest that's almost entirely exposed when he's in battle, longish, black hair, a long, black mustache, and tanned skin. He wears a thick, black jacket, open in the chest, with white on the underside, gray pants, and massive brown boots, and white gloves.

Past[]
He has been of Whitebeard's crew for more than twenty years and was a veteran when Marco was starting out as an apprentice. Vista was with the crew when Kozuki Oden decided to join them after the crew arrived in Wano. Vista was present by Oden's declaration to hold onto a chain to sail with them and after a few days started to cheer him on.
Little else is known about him, except that he seems to have some kind of past with Yasopp, the Red Haired Pirates sniper, but the details of their conflict are a mystery.
Summit War Saga[]
Marineford Arc[]
He along with his crew sought to save Portgas D. Ace from execution at the hands of the Marines. Vista witnessed Dracule Mihawk step forward, he had an eager look on his face while noting he wanted to meet him and battle the latter to see where he stood.
When Ace's brother Monkey D. Luffy arrived, the Whitebeard Pirates saw him as an ally. After Mihawk overpowered Luffy, Vista was ordered by Marco to aid the young pirate saved the latter from his powerful foe. Vista was pleased Mihawk heard of him and the two clash for a while.
In the aftermath, he shared a glare with Yasopp after he and his crew arrived.
During the Timeskip[]
After the deaths of Whitebeard and Ace, Vista remained in the crew, accepted Marco as the new Captain, and helped him in the Payback War in an attempt to get revenge on Blackbeard. Once they lost the Payback War the Whitebeard Pirates officially broke up, and the current whereabouts or status of Vista are unknown.
