Vree is the head scribe of the California brotherhood of steel during the events of the first Fallout.
She is voiced by CCH Pounder, who also voiced Coldfire from the animated series Gargoyles

Background[]
Vree is the head Scribe of the California chapter of the Brotherhood of steel. This makes her in charge of the gathering and preservation of knowledge that has been found or developed by the Brotherhood. Vree is also in charge of overseeing the other scribes in there efforts. Vree is very enthusiastic about her work and a perfect fit for the position due how intelligent, kind and patient she is. Due to be the head scribe Vree is knowledgeable of a variety of subjects including but not limited to weapon engineering, survival, biology and chemistry. Vree on her spare time helps train initiates and works on personnel projects. Vree also does meditation. Vree does often focus on the future and tends to ignore and is not interested in scientific works of the past. after the rise of the Master's army Vree has been studying super mutant anatomy and during many autopsy's on them. During said autopsy she discovered that the mutants are sterile and cant breed.

when the Vault Dweller arrives and gains entry to the Lost hill he can ask her about a variety of subjects and history. these include about things dealing with brotherhood like there founder, there war with the master and the head paladin of the bunker Rhombus. She can give information about diffident technology like holoTapes and other faction like the Church of the Cathedrals.
