Wade Duck is the tritagonist of the comic strip U.S. Acres and the Orson's Farm segments in Garfield and Friends.

He was voiced by the late Howard Morris who also voiced Flem from Cow and Chicken.

Personality

Wade is shown to be a cowardly, paranoid, nervous, and pessimistic duck who is constantly afraid of everything, much to the annoyance to Orson, and almost everyone else which is a running gag in the comic strip and the TV show. He has shown to have 714 fears, according to Edward R. Furrow, the psychiatrist on the farm. Despite his cowardice, he has shown to be brave at times, especially when his friends are in danger.

He is shown to have a love/hate relationship with Roy Rooster as they have known each other for 14 years and Roy takes great delight in pulling practical pranks on him and Wade's been trying to get his five dollars back from him for 14 years, and they argue a few times, and they have shown to be friends on occasion.

He is also usually the one to know about Orson's brothers and their plans and usually runs off to warn the other animals.

Wade is so scared of drowning that he constantly wears a kiddie pool inner tube (which, as a recurring joke, has a head like his on the front that always imitates his facial expression and what direction he's looking to match his own). He can be easily driven into an incoherent raving of fear, especially by [[Roy Rooster|Roy]], who likes to pull pranks on him. However, despite his massive, countless fears, he cares very deeply about his friends, and whenever they would need him, he would muster up the courage to go and save them. Unlike the other characters, Wade's eyebrows float above his head. He also has a tendency of pronouncing silent letters in many words (i.e. 'ansWer', 'LincoLn').
