Nguyen: Well, let's hope he doesn't mess anything up. Wallace: Yeah, like last time. Remember Forest Camping Badge? And remember Desert Camping Badge? Ugh, and don't even get me started on the Underwater Camping Badge. How did he even start a fire underwater?

~ Wallace scolding Grizz Bear's incompetence.
Wallace is a major character in the 2015 Cartoon Network original series, We Bare Bears, and a supporting character in its 2020 series finale film, We Bare Bears: The Movie. Wallace is the shortest, yet strongest-willed and most reliable leader of the Poppy Rangers. Wallace is a brave and adventurous little girl scout/park ranger and troop who has a close friendship with Ranger Tabes and the Bears, more especially Grizzly.
Similar to Ice Bear, Wallace is shown to be the most capable in several methods and scenarios thanks to her sheer valor and hyperawareness, as well as her skill in kickball. As such, Wallace has the combination of being the strongest, the cleverest and the most reliable of the Poppy Rangers, but is not the most mature despite being the leader. Wallace shows high commitment to her aforementioned fellow Poppy Rangers. Additionally, reflecting her leadership, Wallace is shown to be the most sophisticated and bravest of the Poppy Rangers, but there are occasions where Wallace still shows signs of paranoia nonetheless. Not only is she a genius and strong leader, she is also essential and virtually resourceful to the Poppy Rangers' childhood and teamwork. Outside of her career as a park ranger like Ranger Tabes, Wallace is typically seen casually playing with the other Poppy Rangers and having fun, more especially by flying kites, demonstrated in Hurricane Hal.
Wallace is a rather short, tomboyish and pudgy girl, being the shortest of the Poppy Rangers, yet is surprisingly quite strong for her short height. She has short, blonde hair stylized into a bowl-cut kind. Over her missing left eye is a dark brown eye-patch. Wallace's "Poppy Ranger" outfit consists of a light moss-green short-sleeved shirt, overlaid with a yellow bandanna around the collar with a single olive stripe across the middle. As well, this includes green-toned khaki shorts, tennis shoes of the same color and tube socks underneath. Over-top the entire outfit is a dark green sash.
Personality[]
Like her fellow Poppy Rangers, Wallace is kindhearted, affable, selfless, harmonizing, brave, and adventurous, typically following the commands of their superior Ranger Tabes and Grizz Bear, even disregarding the severe endangerment of their commands, even perceiving Tabes as a mother-like figure and Grizz as a father-like figure.
As the leader of the Poppy Rangers, Wallace is shown to have not only high loyalty, but since she is the leader and perceived as the best and most reliable of the Poppy Rangers by Tabes, she is also the most sophisticated, most fearless and outgoing of the rest of the Poppy Rangers, showing the most of her loyalty towards Tabes and her fellow Poppy Rangers, although there are some occasions that she is reluctant on proving herself to be brave through risky adventures and shows signs of fear, like the other Poppy Rangers. Wallace assures to retain her promises and support her Poppy Rangers in several situations, demonstrated by Wallace working with the Poppy Rangers as an excellent heroic team, appreciating Grizz and the Poppies saving Wallace from Hurricane Hal and assisting the three bears in defeating Agent Trout, leading to the latter's deserved incarceration.
Despite being the leader, however, Wallace is often stubborn and somewhat of a trickster, shown when she sneaks out of her and the Poppy Rangers' home to fly her kite in the Hurricane Hal, and refused to cooperate to Grizz despite his multiple pleads to remain indoors, only for her to almost get blown away by the hurricane before being saved by Grizz and the other Poppy Rangers. Like Nguyen, Wallace is often blunt towards Grizz, shown when Wallace, the Poppy Rangers and Ranger Tabes are sailing to the island in the episode, Lord of the Poppies, she bluffly revises the memories of Grizz goofing up in attaining the badges, and was even disappointed with Grizz being the leader of the Poppies, but still shows high loyalty towards Grizz nonetheless, like the other Poppy Rangers.
Wallace's valor and pure bond with the Poppies fluctuates from time to time, however, demonstrated when Wallace gets blown away by the Hurricane Hal and fearfully cries out for help, heavily implying that Wallace and the Poppy Rangers have pure fear of thunderstorms, such as the Hurricane Hal. Additionally, in the episode, Lord of the Poppies, as Grizz's incompetence hits the last straw of Wallace's patience, she, alongside the other Poppy Rangers, eventually succumb to hunger and insanity, to the point that she decides to devour Grizz and turn against him, which references how Panda Bear and Ice Bear became primal animals in the episode, Primal. Not only that, Wallace seems to crave deeply for leadership, which is what her fellow Poppy Rangers are also after, demonstrated when Grizz accidentally causes the Poppy Rangers to begin a "Ranger War," turning against and fighting each other for the guidebook, which Wallace stole from Grizz upon kidnapping and entrapping him to cook him for food, which is due to Grizz's "shoulder angels." Even before that, Wallace stole the guidebook from Grizz's hands after kidnapping him and entrapping him to grill him, using this to her advantage to talk down to the other Poppies with an overbearing and bossy attitude.
Along with the Ranger War, Wallace is also shown to be somewhat lethal, like the other Poppy Rangers, shown when she and the Poppy Rangers were about to eat Grizz out of appetite before Tabes shows up with pizza, despite Wallace being initially reluctant about it, but this was due to Grizz's incompetence.

Trivia[]
Like the other Poppy Rangers, Wallace has never had an interaction with Panda Bear and Ice Bear, but would still show an affable and kindhearted disposition towards them nonetheless if she did interact with them.
Wallace is the only Poppy Ranger with a sibling revealed (Chuck Wallace), and is the only Poppy Ranger who had a family member revealed. This distinction is carried over with Nguyen, who was seen calling her dad in the episode, Ranger Games.
Wallace is described as a "fearless and born" leader in her character portrait, but Wallace is ironically afraid of thunderstorms and heights, shown in Hurricane Hal.
It is implied that Wallace had seemingly lost his left eye for the badge relative to it, but the reason for it is unknown.
Wallace's somewhat overbearing leadership is equivalent to Blossom being the overbearing leader of the Powerpuff Girls in the Powerpuff Girls series.
Wallace is the first character in Cate Gragnani's voice actress list.
Wallace is the first of the Poppy Rangers to call Grizz as, "Bear Guy."
Wallace's last name is ironically a boy's name, despite being a female.
Wallace's "Mighty Eagle" kite is reminiscent of the Mighty Eagle from the Angry Birds franchise.
Unlike the other Poppy Rangers, Wallace wishes to grow up to become a professional park ranger, like her fellow commander, Ranger Tabes.
Wallace telling Grizzly while flying her kite in the Hurricane Hal, "Wallace's good out here," is likely a reference to the catchphrase of Taako from The Adventure Zone, "Taako's good out here." This is further supplemented by Louie Zong and Lauren Sassen both being fans of the podcast.
