Walt Stone is a descendent of Akhenaten, a trainee at the 21st Nome at Brooklyn House, the host of Anubis, the boyfriend of Sadie Kane and a character in The Kane Chronicles first appearing in the second book The Throne of Fire.

Biography

Walt was born in Seattle in 1994 to an unnamed man and woman. Due to his ancestor Akhenaten's wish to destroy the worship of the gods only wanting people to worship the sun, priests cursed Akhenaton and his offspring which is why his son Tutankhamen and later descendants (including Walt's father) died at an early age. As practising magic speeds up the curse, Walt uses amulets which store magic in advance.

In the third book The Serpent's Shadow Walt died but came back to life after the god of death Anubis merged with him and helped defeat Apophis and the rebel magicians and after the battle started a romantic relationship with Sadie.
