War Ghost & Slime (戰鬼與史萊姆), formerly known as Goblin & Slime (哥布林與史萊姆), is the titular one of the main protagonists of Brave Animated Series, based on the comic Brave Series: Brave and The Four Demon Kings (勇者系列：勇者與魔族四天王) by Yellow Book. They represent the marginalized populace of the Demons who rise up against the oppressive and corrupt global system led by the Braves.
War Ghost is voiced by Gao Yun Shuo, who also voices Baby Dragon Girl and Golem Demon Little Girl; Slime is voiced by Jing Qing Yan, who also voices Sword Brave in the sane animated series.
Biography[]
The pair are introduced as the absolute weakest members of the monster hierarchy—a common Goblin and a simple Slime—infamously labeled "upgrade fertilizer" by Main Brave who hunt them purely for experience points and wealth. Tired of being victims, the two make a pact to become strong enough to challenge the corrupt Brave system and protect their kind. The Goblin, in particular, displays a relentless determination and ambition, leading him to pursue the legendary Fierce King (凶王)'s Equipment. This quest for power signifies his transformation from a common Goblin into the formidable War Ghost, who can directly confront Brave legions. The Slime remains his loyal and enduring companion, sharing in his struggles and triumphs.
Appearance[]
Goblin initially appears as a typical weak green-skinned humanoid creature, but as the plot unfolds and its power grows, hints emerge that it will transform into a more formidable and threatening "War Ghost" form. And Slime is a classic amorphous gelatinous demon.
Personality[]
Both characters are defined by their resilience, ferocity, and deep loyalty to their shared cause. They are driven by a fierce desire for self-preservation and a profound sense of justice for their fellow weak monsters. They refuse to be passive victims, actively seeking strength and training, and embodying the fighting spirit of the underdog.
