The Warriors of Light are the main protagonist of the original 1987 roleplaying video game Final Fantasy, minor characters in the epilogue of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. and the overaching protagonist of the Final Fantasy franchise. They are a group of adventurers who seek to rescue Princess Sarah and destroy the four feinds whose plan to plague the world.
The warriors later become the main motif for several future heroes who fights against the greatest evil against humanity itself.

Backstory[]
The four warriors where a group united of a warrior, a black and white mage and a thief, whose desire is two stop the four fiends and restore the light to the lands of mortal.
Battle against Chaos and Darkness[]
The Warriors of Light, four young heroes spoken of in prophecy, arrive in Cornelia to save Princess Sarah from the corrupted knight Garland. Each carries a crystal, not to be protected, but to be restored by vanquishing the Four Fiends—powerful beings that have plunged the world into darkness.
As they defeat the Fiends and bring light back to the crystals, their journey takes them into the past, where they discover the true source of the world's suffering: Chaos, the evil force that created an endless cycle of destruction. Facing Chaos, who is revealed to be Garland transformed, the Warriors break the cycle and bring peace to their world.
Legacy[]
After defeating the Fiends and the rogue Garland, the warriors wanished into the unknown. However, their actions against darkness will become an endless battle in the future, where several heroes after their time will rise up to fought against countless evil in their desire to protect and unite the world.
Trivia[]
- The warriors is shown to be different in various adaption and changes, in the Final Fantasy I * II * III: Memory of Heroes novel, they are named Setro for the Warrior, Zauver for the Thief, Flora for the White Mage, and Teol for the Black Mage.
- In the 1989 manga adaptation by Yuu Kaimeiji, the Warriors of Light differs vastly from the original game. The four warriors are all "from other dimensions" and include a female Elf named Puffy Tolte, Matoya the Witch, and Bahamut himself. They are accompanied by Princess Sarah, Bikke the pirate, Dr. Unne, and a robot named DB-6.
- Several alternate or reimagination of the warriors appeared in different FF titles, ironically enough, they were also the title granted to Garland's original team.
- The Warrior character is the most recurring member of the team, appearing in various concept arts in several games.
