The mascot of the food company was based in the likeness of Melinda Lou "Wendy" Morse (née Thomas; born September 14, 1961) who is the daughter and fourth child of American businessman Dave Thomas, the founder of the fast food brand Wendy's. Morse is best known for being the namesake and mascot of the brand. She uses the name Wendy Thomas in her role as a spokesperson for Wendy's.
Appearance[]
Wendy is a girl with red hair fashioned into two pigtails with a blue bows on the ends. She wears a blue and white striped shirt with white and red striped sleeves underneath.

The character of Wendy has been constantly characterized as a nice girl and sympathetic, However after the spawning of a famous internet meme, Wendy has also been showed a bit arrogant and sarcastic.
