Whamon is a minor hero in Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02.
He was voiced by Peter Spellos.

Appearance
Digimon Adventure
Whamon swallows DigiDestined and their partners on their way to the Server Continent. Inside his stomach, they find a Black Gear and destroy it, returning Whamon back to normal. In order to thank them, Whamon transports them to the continent.
He reappears and helps DigiDestined escaping from one of the Dark Masters, MetalSeadramon and his army. However, after rediscovering his enemies, Whamon sacrifice himself to save the DigiDestined from MetalSeadramon's attack.
Digimon Adventure 02
Whamon helps bring Cody and Joe to an underwater oil platform that the other New DigiDestind are trapped in while Ikkakumon battles a Dark Spiral-controlled MegaSeadramon.
Trivia
- He is one of few Digimon to sacrifice to save DigiDestined from Villains.
