Whirlwind is a unicorn-dragon hybrid Skylander in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
She is voiced by Salli Saffioti who also voiced Torch, Clawdeen Wolf, and Cleo De Nile from "Monster High", and many others.

Biography
Whirlwind is an air dragon with unicorn ancestry – two species that could not be more opposite in nature, which made her never quite fit in with either group. Other dragons were envious of her beauty and grace, while her unicorn brethren shunned her for her unusual appearance and ability to fly. But Whirlwind found peace within the dark and stormy clouds, where she learned to harness the tempest power within her. Despite her turbulent youth, she remained pure of heart and was the first to defend both dragons and unicorns when the trolls began hunting them, unleashing her ferocity in a brilliant and powerful rainbow that could be seen throughout many regions of Skylands. From that day forward, evil-doers would quake when dark clouds brewed, and run from the rainbow that followed the storm.
History
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Whirlwind was among the first 32 Skylanders to watch over the Core of Light, however after Kaos destroyed the Core, this sent the Skylanders to Earth, leading to the Portal Masters to send the Skylanders back to Skylands in hopes to help the Skylanders to stop Kaos from taking over the Skylands as well as rebuilding the Core of Light.
Skylanders: Giants
Whirlwind went to help the Giants to stop Kaos from reawakening the Ancient Arkeyan Army and was given new powers in doing so.
Skylanders: SWAP-Force
Whirlwind went to join the SWAP-Force to help the residents in the Cloudbreak Islands as well as try to prevent Kaos from trying to corrupt the Ancient Elementals as well as fight against his Mother after capturing Tessa. Whirlwind also gained new powers in doing so.
Whirlwind also went to the Cloudbreak Islands in the past, where she created an illuminating crystal and gave it to the Frost Elves.
Return of the Dragon King
Whirlwind, along with most of the other Skylanders, went to fight against Malefor after he left the Underworld.
