Whitney Fordman is a main character in the first season of Smallville. He is a high school senior that dates Lana Lang which brings him into conflict with Clark Kent.
He was portrayed by Eric Johnson, who also voiced Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Little is known of Whitney Fordman's past, but he was presumably born in Kansas to George and Betty Fordman.
Smallville[]
Whitney gained Clark's resentment when he hung him up as a scarecrow and left him trapped in the cornfield. Fortunately Clark was rescued by Lex Luthor. Whitney later tried to apologize but was rebuffed. he and Clark became friendlier after Clark saved him from Greg Arkin.
When Whitney became more distant due to his father being sick Clark put his feelings for Lana aside so he could encourage Whitney to let her in. Whitney later became involved with a gang but Clark stopped them and helped Whitney get a second chance.
After his father's death Whitney was inspired to join the United Marine Corps and died in Indonesia, giving his life to save a fellow soldier.
