They beg their mom to ressurect Sparky, but she claim she can't do it, which give the question to viewer if she can't ressurect dead people and animals, who's this Vision? In the series finale, Wanda was able to take back both of them and order them to stay in their house. Agatha frees Westview from Wanda's mind control and they beg her to let them go. New body, New life.[]

November 11, 2023. William Kaplan who lives in Eastview with his parents Jeff Kaplan and Rebbecca Kaplan, has a bar mitzvah ceremony. At the party, he goes to a magic tent and meets Lilia Calderu, a divination witch. He asks her to predict his future in wish she foreseen from his hand line that his life line is break in 2 part. Lilia says it's not necessary death but could it could be a turn of event that turn him into a new a person, saying to him that he should live his life in a moment and be as much happy as he could. William go back to the party but forget his jacket. Lilia knows what will happen but unable to change anything, she put a sigil in his cloth and asks others to return it to William, however due to the effect of the sigil she forgets him completely.

Suddenly the party was stopped because the Battle of Westview and everyone was asked to return to their home for their safety. As William and his parents drive car to home, the Hex is shriking as Wanda decide to let Vision go and sacrifice her twins son Billy and Tommy. His father was distracted by the Hex which causing the car accident. His parents only get minor injury but William was mortally wounded from head trauma and while his parents try to call for ambulance, he sadly passed away.

However, due to this happening at the same time as the Hex disappeared, Billy Maximoff who now has no physical body was able to take over a dead Willaim Kaplan's body, ressurecting his body and yell out to Tommy who is disappearing along with Vision.

He was taken to the hospital and doctor diagnosed him with temporary amnesia. Despite the sigil blocking his memory, he is still be able to read people's mind. He was later taken home by his host parents. He hears his parents' thoughts and asks them to stop arguing despite them not say anything. He walks into his room with contain a lot of magical media, telling to himself in a mirror that he's Billy Kaplan.

Investigating his true past.[]

3 years has past and Billy is unable to recall Maximoff or Kaplan's memories of his life(s). This causes him to start investigate the Westview Anomoly thinking it must relate to him. He starts dating a boy name Eddie and they meet up with Ralph Bohner. Ralph Bohner tells Billy that Wanda giving birth to 2 sons name Billy and Tommy, when Billy asks what happened to them. Ralph says they probably ceased to exist along with Vision and everythink created by Wanda's Hex, and telling him that Agatha is still living in his house, trapped in Wanda's spell of making her become a noisy neighbor in which Westview citizens took pity on her because she's technically freed Wanda from her unintentional mind control and made Wanda taking down her Hex sacrificed her family. Ralph asks Billy and Eddie to give him more money for extra information or considering buying a ticket of his concert.

Billy decides to investigate Agatha alone. He breaks into her house try to find her belonging to use for breaking spell. Agatha now believes herself to be a police officer due to Rio interventing Wanda spell to capture him and investigate him, accusing him of murdering Wanda Maximoff. Billy tries to use his spell to free Agatha, but it's not enough and she locks him in her closet. Thankfully, Rio makes Agatha remember who she was and makes her fully free from Wanda's spell. Agatha later frees Billy from the closet.

Froming a Coven[]

After learning of the Witches' Road, a rumored road to paradise that witches must go through as a coven to be granted their greatest desires, Billy sees it as a chance to find Tommy. He helps Agatha recruit three witches for the coven: Lilia, Jennifer Kale, and Alice Wu-Gulliver. They are a missing a green witch, but instead of Rio, Agatha invites her elderly neighbor Sharon Davis (previously known as "Mrs. Hart" under Wanda's Hex). As the coven starts chanting the ballad for the Witches' Road in Agatha's basement, Billy looks outside and sees the Salem Seven gathering to attack Agatha's house as revenge against her for killing the original coven centuries ago. He panics and warns the current coven just as the door to Witches' Road opens underground, allowing them to escape.

Journey to The Witches Road[]

As the coven journies down the Witches' Road, they meet their first trial in a house where they (except Billy, who is underage) have to drink a poisoned wine that causes wild hallucinations. They are able to create a potion that cured them, but unfortunately Sharon dies from the poison since they weren't able to give it to her in time. Since they need a new green witch, they summon Rio who digs her way through Sharon's grave to join them.

They meet their second trial where they have to repeat the ballad in a rockstar mode. On their third trial, they manage to escape the Salem Seven on flying broomsticks. On their fourth trial, they are in a haunted house where they have to sit together and do a séance on an ouja board, during which Agatha briefly imitates Sharon. However, the board ends up releasing the spirit of Agatha's mother who wants revenge on her daughter for killing her in self-defense. She then proceeds to possess Agatha and while Alice manages to expel the spirit from Agatha's body, Agatha drains her magic and kills her. Completely outraged at Agatha for killing Alice, Billy mind-controls Lilia and Jennifer into dumping Agatha into a quicksand-like mud trap before throwing them in it too.

Agatha manages to climb out and learns who Billy is once he finally destroyed the sigil. She then realizes that Billy is only seeking to the Witches' Road to revive Tommy and decides to help him, to which Billy reluctantly agrees. They find themselves in a tower where Agatha is dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West and Billy is dressed as Maleficent. They have to play a tarot card game where if they don't insert the cards correctly, swords hanging from the ceilings will fall on them one by one. They are soon joined by Lilia and Jennifer, where Lilia gets a vision revealing that Rio is the personification of Death. She manages to insert the cards correctly and while the others escape through an opened passageway, Lilia stays behind just as the Salem Seven arrive. Lilia then sacrifices herself by flipping over one of the cards, turning the whole tower upside down and impaling Lilia and the Salem Seven on the ceiling swords.

Final confrontation with Death[]

After the final trial, Rio appears to Agatha as Death. Telling Agatha she not keeping her promise of giving Billy to her means she will take her instead. She tries to create a protection circle around herself, but Rio simply uses wind to blow it away, saying it doesn't work on her because she is not evil but simply a natural order of this world. Rio wounds her with glass, but before Rio can finish Agatha off, Billy returns to save Agatha in his comic accurate Wiccan unifrom. Billy decides to give Agatha some of his power trusting her to not take all of it. Agatha keeps her honor by only taking enough power to return herself back to her prime and stops absorbing more powers and they tried to fight Rio together.

However, they soon realize that there's no way they can defeat the embodiment of Death itself. Rio decide to show some mercy and say if one of them willingly give up their life, they will let the other go and will not try to end their life by herself again. When Billy offers himself to Rio, Agatha accept it seemingly without hesitation. (Although you can see tears in her eyes.) Asking Rio to fix her house and plant Azaleas flowers before they go, telling Billy that she's a covenless witch. Billy telepathically asks Agatha question "Is this how Nicky died?".

Overwhelming with regret and sadness and unable to see people she care died anymore, Agatha walks back and kisses Rio, showing that she still loves her, absorbing some of her powers which kills her. Her body quicky decays and reduces to nothing as flowers and fungi as death giving birth to new life and new morning come. Billy took Agatha's neckless and Rio allowing Billy to go live his life. As she promise to Agatha she will not appear before her again not even in afterlife, even if it would break her own heart. Billy now walks away from Agatha's house surrounded by Westview citizens who now fear him the same way Wanda was feared. He drive his car back to his home to meet his host parents who waiting for him, still unaware that he's not the same William anymore.

The new journey[]

Billy walks back to his room and notices that his room has so many similar thing to what he and Agatha's coven experince in the Witches' Road, realizing that this Witches's Road was his creation all along. Suddenly, Agatha appears to him as a ghost. Agatha tells him that the Witches' Road never exist and is simply a scam to absorb witches' powers creating from a song that she made with her son Nicky when he still alive and is truly about their journey together. Billy starts blaming himself for indirectly kill almost everyone in the coven. But Agatha says it was her plan to absorb their powers and kill them anyway, Alice was her fault, Lilia died by her own choice, she's not even bothered to remember who's Sharon, and technically he saved one life which is Jennifer, who's now with her power return, dug herself up from the aunderground back to the Westview and flew away (foreshadowing Blade and Midnight Sons).

Billy returns to Agatha's house to seal the Witches's Road. Agatha appears before him again trying to reclaim her necklace. Billy annoyed decides to banish her to the afterlife using a spell and her necklace. Agatha resists, angering Billy asking why she didn't disappear, Agatha yells "BECAUSE I CAN'T FACE HIM!", succesfully reclaiming her necklace. Billy clams down and tries to comfort Agatha saying her son would forgive her. Agatha still refuses to move on and says he's reminded her of Nicky. Both of them realize they are not so different becuase they both kill witches in their coven intentionally or unintentionally.

Billy completely closes the Witches' Road. Using the seal as an Epitaph for Mrs. David, Alice and Jennifer. When one door closes, and another opens. They decide to start a new journey to find and revive Tommy.

Trivia[]

  • Joe Locke portrays Wiccan with an American accent.
  • This version of Billy doesn't seem to get bullied for being gay compare to comics, however it seems like reviving Tommy's life in MCU will be even more tragic than his comics counterpart.
  • Instead of repeating the same phrase to make his wishes happen like in comics, Wiccan using normal spells like other witches and sorcerers in MCU.
  • It should be known that this version of Wiccan is only William Maximoff, as William Kaplan only existed to be his host contrary to comics.
  • His backstroy was heavily changed from comics to not include Mephisto and time travel reincarnation because it would be too complex for general audiences.
  • It possible that Billy and Tommy were subconsciously created from Wanda dreaming of her alternate version sons with real bodies. (In Multiverse of Madness, it was revealed that dreams are window to Multiverse.)
  • The statue of Wiccan is shown alongside Scarlet Witch in Darkhold temple in Multiverse of Madness. Had Lilia not put sigil on him, Wanda would most likely have found him and together they will tear down the Multiverse to find Tommy, as two god like beings will be nearly unstopable.
  • Billy’s identity has been leaked before episode 6 along with Rio because of the Funko Pop images.
    • Marvel Cinematic Universe wiki already acknowledge Teen idenity as Wiccan long before episode 6.
  • Some Marvel fans dislike the choice of choosing Joe Locke as his actor due to not being Jewish, ignore the fact that Billy and by extension Wanda can't be jewish because Wanda doesn't have Magneto as her parent in MCU.
    • Magneto's not even her father anymore in comics, thus she is only Romani, and Billy being Jewish is only because of Kaplan parents not Maximoff.
    • Although MCU keep his host character to be Jewish, while his soul is technically Sokovian.
  • Vision and Wanda start dating until Vision died when he was 3 years old. Then Billy has a first boyfriend when he was 3 years old since Wanda giving birth to him. (Although he's physically and mentally(?) 16 years old.)
  • In the comics Billy is married to Hulking a Kree/Skrull hybrid, while the MCU version is currently dating a human.
