Wignall Lindor is a major character in the action fantasy anime and manga series Wistoria: Wand and Sword. He is a student at Ligarden Magic Academy and a foster older brother of Ellenor Ljos Alf, one of the Magia Vanders.
He is voiced by Kengo Kawanishi in Japanese and by Robson Kumode in English.
Appearance[]
Despite being in his 70s, as an elf, Wignall has the appearance of a young boy with long, green hair that reaches past his shoulders, with bangs that frame his face. His eyes are green. As an elf he has long pointed ears. His outfit consists of a white dress shirt with gold buttons, tucked into dark blue or black trousers. He also wears a black belt. As a student at Ligarden Magic Academy, he dons a dark, cape with a gold trim, which drapes over his shoulders and reaches down to the floor. The cape is fastened at the front with a purple gemstone on a gold clasp, adding a touch of regality to his appearance.
Personality[]
Wignall exhibits a smug and easy-going demeanor, with a similar view over most students as Julius Rainburg and Sion Ulster, seeing himself as greater than those who are incompetent. Wignall prefers to avoid unnecessary confrontation, such as his sly decision during the Grand Festival to wait for Will and Julius' team to be preoccupied with fighting against each other while the crown was next to him, free to take and claim victory. His demeanor is later revealed to conceal his own insecurities, as he uses it to convince himself of his strength and superiority. His ambition mirrors that of Will, as both aim to align themselves to be Magia Vanders. His ambition like many of his classmates is driven to gain more power, he struggles with the negativity from fellow Elves and by self-doubt, until this underconfidence is erased with Will's help and support.
