Wild Tiger is one of the two main characters of Tiger & Bunny. His alter ego is Kotetsu T. Kaburagi. A widower, he has a daughter named Kaede who is under the care of her grandmother in Oriental Town. Kotetsu works as a paid superhero in Sternbild and his daughter does not know about this. He is the least popular superhero in Sternbild. Kotetsu has the Hundred Power ability, the power to increase his physical capabilities (strength, speed, endurance, jumping ability, etc.) hundredfold in five minutes. He is unwillingly partnered to Barnaby Brooks Jr. who have the same powers as him but have contrasting belief in superheroics. He believes that saving people is more important than satisfying his sponsors. His sponsors are S.H. Figurrearts and softbank.
Personality[]
Koketsu T. Kauragi is a confident and out-spoken individual. He is not afraid to speak his mind or to go into danger to stop dangerous criminals and supervillains. He is genuinely interested in helping the civilians and stopping criminals and supervillains that are a threat to the city. He is not interested in status or power that comes with his fame, but is interested in doing the right thing to help those who are in need.
He is shown to be determined to do good even when his superpowers were dwindling. In addition, he values the spirit of his teammates going as far as trying to reach them as individuals when they were all manipulated by Albert Maverick to turn against him. This demonstrates that he knows and cares about the interests of his teammates, tries to reach them through honesty and nonviolent means, and would not want any harm done to them.
He is shown to frequently get into verbal fights with his partner Barnaby despite their mutual interests in doing good for the city. Often times, Koketsu comes across as an older man lecturing Barnaby to which the latter detests. In spite of their turbulent relationship, Koketsu cares for Barnaby and the latter reciprocates the same sentiments. In addition, Koketsu is also shown to try his best to be there for his daughter, Kaede, and willing to protect her from danger.
