Vanessa, primarily known as Wildernessa, is a character from Cartoon Network series from Craig of the Creek. She is a Creek Kid who appears in the episode of the same name. She deeply cares for the well-being of animals. With her dog Cheese Sticks, she travels around the Creek saving animals in distress. She is also the love interest of Craig Williams.
She is voiced by Isabella Alvarez who also voiced Ronnie Anne Santiago in The Loud House.
Appearance[]
Wildernessa is a young girl who wears a torn teddy bear "hat", a white and red-shaped shirt, a skirt made of leaves, and black pants/leggings. She does not wear shoes except during the winter season where it is shown that she wears a pair of shoes due to the cold. In addition, she wears a dog whistle around her neck which is used to summon Cheese Sticks, her pet dog. She is slighty taller than some characters on the series.
Personality[]
Wildernessa has innense respect for the safety and care of animals. She calls herself "a friend of nature", and believes wild animals deserve to be free and should not be mistreated. She is more knowledgeable about animals than most other Creek Kids, through her knowledge is far from comprehensive.
As of "Breaking the Ice" Wildernessa reveals that she doesn't fit in with her friends at school where she is a subject of bullying due to her violent nature. In addition, it is revealed that she has a crush on Craig as shown where she is shy and awkward around him to the point that she can't reveal her feelings for him instead subsitute it with a bird mating call which confuses him.
She also seems to care about plants alongside animals. She is careful when it comes to objects, such as when she doesn't carry her phone at the creek in fear that she might lose it.
