Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college. So let's get down to cases: you are a rabbit, and I am going to eat you for supper. Now, don't try to get away! I am more muscular, more cunning, faster, and larger than you are, and I am a genius. Why you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten. So I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
~ Wile E. Coyote, to Bugs

Wile E. Coyote is the tertiary tetartagonist from the Looney Tunes franchise. He is The Road Runner's arch-enemy.

Although Wile E. Coyote usually does not speak, he talks sometimes.

He is sometimes one of Bugs Bunny's enemies.

In a direct-to-video Christmas film called Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas, Wile E. Coyote is an employee at Daffy Duck's store.

In What's New Scooby Doo?, Wile E. Coyote makes a short appearance along with The Road Runner.

In What's New Scooby Doo?, Wile E. Coyote's looks have changed as he has blue eyes and has no ears.

In 2012, Wile E. Coyote, along with The Road Runner have appeared in a GEICO commercial.

He also appeared in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? along with the other Looney Tunes characters.

Wile E. Coyote was known as Kelsey Coyote in his comic book debut in Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies #91 (which was made in May 1949)

In Loonatics Unleashed, Wile E. Coyote's 28th century descendant is Tech E. Coyote.

In another series of the Looney Tunes cartoons, there is a character Ralph Wolf who looks like Wile E. Coyote except Wile E. has a black nose whereas Ralph has a red nose.

Heroic Deeds

Although he tries to kill The Road Runner, he also does good things.

  • In Lunatics, the Looney Tunes were space super-heroes and Wile E. (also known as Tech E. Coyote) was a part of the team. So, he was fighting villains, saving the day with the rest.
  •  In Space Jam, he fights the Nerdlucks (also known as the Monstars), along with the other members of The Toon Squad.
  • In the Wabbit episode Mooch Housin' Syndrome, he once tried to take good care of Bugs' friend, Squeaks the Squirrel (even though the latter was faking).
