President William "Will" Cooper is the deuteragonist of the 2015 action-comedy film, Pixels.
He is portrayed by Kevin James who also portrayed Paul Blart in the Paul Blart: Mall Cop film series and Doug Heffernan in The King of Queens, and also voiced Frankenstein in the Hotel Transylvania franchise.
Biography[]
Wiliam is first seen entering the arcade along with his best friend, Sam Brenner. They meet Ludlow Lamonsoff before Sam loses to Eddie Plant during a Donkey Kong game match. In the present, William is the President of the United States of America. He becomes shocked that the Taj Mahal is attacked with Arkanoid paddles and a person is kidnapped. After Brenner and Ludlow destroyed Centipede and Sam defeated Pac-Man, William enters the ball during the celebration of Pac-Man's defeat. When Violet Van Patten's young son, Matty gets kidnapped by the aliens, William decides to join with Sam, Eddie and Violet along with the reformed Q*Bert as they enter the space ship while Ludlow stays on Earth to take down the aliens and fall for Lady Lisa. William is able to avoid the barrels and Sam destroys Donkey Kong with the barrel. Towards the end of the film, he and the others are declared heroes and William continues his job as the president.
