Wolverine is a supporting character and playable character in the 2013 video game LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.
History[]
With a past shrouded in mystery and a temper barely held in check, the man called Logan was a savage and relentless fighter. As Wolverine, his retractable claws made him one of the most formidable members of mutant heroes known as the X-Men.
Cosmic Brick Crisis[]
Break-In at the Raft[]
Upon Professor X informing Wolverine of Sabretooth gaining the assistance of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Wolverine tracked him to Ryker's Island, where he met Iron Man and Bruce Banner who were inspecting a recent break-in there. The prisoners were subsequently freed by Sabretooth and Mystique, leading the three to investigate the Raft further. Entering the Raft's inner area, the trio encountered the newly freed Whiplash and Leader. The trio made quick work of the Leader, destroying his forcefield and using teamwork to bypass his mind control powers. Finding Sabretooth at a Chamber room, Sabretooth was able to free various high threat inmates, including Carnage, Red Skull, Rhino, Stan Lee, and Magneto. Magneto used his powers to pull Iron Man's MK 6 suit apart, putting him out of the proceedings, meanwhile, Hulk and Wolverine followed Magneto & Sabretooth to the elevator. After fighting on the elevator, the two followed Magneto and Sabretooth until Hulk was ambushed by Abomination, allowing the villains to escape. The Hulk and Wolverine managed to subdue Abomination with a combination of prison lights and brute strength, with Hulk eventually throwing Abomination into a nearby helicopter that Sabretooth was in, allowing both to be taken into custody.As Hulk and Wolverine met up with Iron Man and the three cleaned up the scene, they went their separate ways, with Wolverine going to do some tracking.
Hydra Hideout[]
Tracking Red Skull to his base, Wolverine entered the base, leaving his claw marks. Upon Red Skull fighting with Captain America, Wolverine tripped him up, causing Red Skull to fall into a portal to Asgard that Hydra created, destroying the portal and electrocuting Red Skull. Red Skull, Zola and the other Hydra agents at the base were then taken into custody.
Skirmish on Asgard[]
Looking for someone who could help them track Loki, Human Torch, Captain America and Wolverine rendezvoused with Thor, Wolverine splitting up with Human Torch and Captain America along the way to take a quick stop for hair gel. Having detected Loki on Asgard, Thor transported his 3 companions, along with one unwilling cleaner, to Asgard. Entering the Observatory, they found Asgard overrun with ice and frost giants and, after breaking out of the locked observatory, they found Loki leading the charge. After fighting their way through Asgard and Loki's illusions, they found Loki in the throne room, where he used the mind stone to control the Destroyer.After the four were able to pull the Destroyer apart through a combination of Cap's shield and Mjolnir, Loki resorted to his usual illusions, something Logan was able to bypass through his heightened senses. As the other three argued as to where to put the Tesseract, Wolverine stole it, going to Professor X in the hopes of finding Magneto.
Attack on the X-Mansion[]
Upon bringing the Tesseract to Professor X, the X-Mansion was attacked by Magneto's forces, crushing Logan under rubble, after the rest of the X-Men were able to repel the Brotherhood's attack on the school, Logan was present with Cyclops and Professor X as they began to plan on the news that Magneto got away.
Rise of Liberty[]
When Magneto took control of the Statue of Liberty, Wolverine was sent to take care of it by Nick Fury. Rendezvousing with Mr Fantastic and Hulk they took a Hulk friendly quinjet to a Roxxon plant that was being attacked by the Statue of Liberty. Upon the jet trying to intercept the statue, it was knocked into the Roxxon plant, sending it crashing into one of the rooms. Working their way upward whilst fighting Magneto's acolytes and avoiding attacks from Liberty, the trio eventually made their way outside, where Magneto used the Statue of Liberty to step on the three, causing them to end up inside the statue. Working their way to Liberty's head, they encountered Mastermind, they encountered Mastermind they encountered Mastermind, who controlled each consecutive member of the trio with his mind control powers, exploiting their fears to make them lash out. Reed and Logan were eventually able to resist the mind control while Hulk ended up passing out as a result of the mind control. Mastermind then altered their perception to disguise his true location, which Wolverine was able to bypass through his heightened senses, knocking him out. After Hulk regained consciousness the other two found Magneto successfully extracting the Roxxon core, using his magnetic powers to decapitate the Statue of Liberty sending them flying.
Later, Wolverine attended Nick Fury's briefing on Galactus and Doctor Doom.
Afterparty at Stark Tower[]
After the Cosmic Brick Crisis was resolved and Galactus was defeated, Tony held a party at Stark Tower. Wolverine attended the party and, much like the other guests, found it lifeless and boring. Unlike the other guests, however, Wolverine was not able to eventually get into the party, instead continuing to sit in the corner.
