History[]
Origin[]
In the ancient lore of Buddhist sages, existence is partitioned into six distinct realms: Gods, Demigods, Animals, Humans, Ghosts, and Hell. Movement between these realms is solely achievable through the cycle of death and rebirth, as any other attempt disrupts the natural order.
In a bygone era, a white snake harbored deep affection for a human youth. Aware of the impossibility of their love enduring across realms, she resolved to transcend this boundary. Assisted by her companion, a green snake, they dedicated themselves to cultivating their qi, endeavoring to assume human form. Through arduous efforts, the serpentine duo achieved their aspiration, stepping into the Human Realm despite opposition from an aged turtle known as Fahai, who clandestinely harbored feelings for the white snake.
The white snake reunited with the human of her affections, yet the green snake also developed feelings for the same man. Their joyous union was abruptly disrupted when a sorcerer monk, revealed to be Fahai, launched a sudden assault. The serpents quickly discerned Fahai's true identity and intentions. In defense of her friend and their shared love, the green snake valiantly confronted Fahai, ultimately vanquishing him and casting him into the depths of the ocean. However, Fahai, in a vengeful act, transformed the green snake into an enduring stone, an incident chronicled in Chinese legend as the Tale of the White Snake.
For centuries, the green snake remained ensnared in stone until liberated by the modern figure, Doctor Omen, who christened her Peng Deilan.
League Justice of China[]
Subsequently, Peng Deilan embraced the mantle of Wonder-Woman, answering Doctor Omen's call to aid in apprehending Super-Man. Alongside Bat-Man and Super-Man, they triumphed over Sunbeam, uniting as the formidable Justice League of China.
Amidst these mystical origins and trials, the tale of Peng Deilan intertwines with the ancient legends, birthing a new chapter in the saga of heroes within the Justice League of China.
