~ Wonder Woman |
Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is one of the main protagonists in the DC Animated Movie Universe. She's an Amazon warrior and the princess of Themyscira. She's armed with a sword and the Lasso of Truth, a lariat that compels men to speak only the truth. She left Paradise Island and found herself in Washington D.C. as a political envoy. Steve Trevor was assigned to serve as a liaison between the U.S. federal government and Diana.
She was voiced by Michelle Monaghan in War and by Rosario Dawn for the rest of the franchise. Dawn also played Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian and Lily Drawl in Syndicate.
History[]
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox[]
Wonder Woman is among the Justice League members who stop Flash's Rogues from their crime spree, as well as helping avoid Professor Zoom's booby traps designed to kill them all. Zoom is able to exploit the Flash's trauma over the death of his mother when he was a child, thereby Flash runs through time to save her. However, by saving his mother, Flash triggered an event known as Flashpoint, which alters everyone's history and even their personalities.
Wonder Woman is Queen of the Amazons, and has an affair with Aquaman; she is jealous of his wife, Mera, unfortunately, thereby kills her in a psychotic attempt to win Aquaman's affection. Instead, Aquaman declared war on the Amazons, with the Atlantean-Amazon War spreading to destroy Europe, and threatening to ravage the entire world.
In the final battle in England, Wonder Woman fights Shazam, using her Lasso of Truth to make him use his activation word to cancel the transformation, which separates Shazam into the children that constitute him; to prevent his recombination, Wonder Woman murders Billy Batson.
Wonder Woman and Aquaman engage in a climactic duel, with Diana managing to kill Arthur, but falling down in regret afterwards to clutch his body. Aquaman, however, had a catastrophic contingency plan, which was using Captain Atom as a bomb; Atom was detonated, causing an explosion that was slowly but unstoppably consuming the Earth. Diana died when the explosion engulfed her still grieving at Arthur's side.
Thanks to Batman (Thomas Wayne) shooting Professor Zoom, the Flash had enough access to the Speedforce to travel in time again. The Flash prevents his past self from saving his mother, which reverts reality back to its previous state. There are still many changes, but the heroes have regained their usual noble personalities, and no alterations threaten the apocalypse. At least, for the time being.
Justice League: War[]
Wonder Woman arrived in Washington D.C. to meet with President Julian of the United States, accompanied by Colonial Steve Trevor in the midst of a superhuman protest. When Wonder Woman offered to help against who they were protesting against, she was shocked to find they were protesting her. After lassoing the truth out of one protestor, she goes with Steve to meet with the president.
Wonder Woman later grew weary of waiting for the president so she left and on her way out, she met Hannah Grace and the two had ice cream together. Steve Trevor later found Diana and told her to come back to the white house, reminding Diana that she was a political envoy, but Diana affirms she is a warrior and Steve agrees, but tells Diana she's a warrior with responsibilities. Steve asks her out to home made ice cream before parademons invaded Washington D.C. Wonder Woman sprung into action and fought them.
During the fight, Parademons ambushed the president on his flight out of Washington and Wonder Woman flew into rescue him. Wonder Woman successfully defeated the parademons who were after the president and introduced herself to him and his wife. Wonder Woman's battle with another parademon destroyed the presidents plane engine, causing the president to fall out of the plane. Wonder Woman rescues him with her lasso. Then Superman arrives to help keep the plane in the air. Wonder Woman is surprised by Superman and together, they fought off the parademons. Superman was impressed with Wonder Woman's strength.
Later, Wonder Woman and Superman joined Batman, The Flash, and Green Lantern in the fight against Parademons in Metropolis. She greet them as warriors. Green Lantern tries to say hi, but Superman steps in the way. They are suddenly surprised by the arrival of Victor Stone, who has just recently been enhanced by apoklipian technology and is now half-android. Wonder Woman considered him a threat and tries to attack, but Cyborgs armor blasts Wonder Woman. Superman prepares to attack Stone, but Stone insists he's not with the parademons. Flash vouches for Victor and they stop. After Shazam arrives on the scene, Victor tells the others of the pardemons plan to terrafrom the earth and Darkseid arrives, taking out each hero one by one. Wonder Woman tries to fight Darkseid, but Darkseid defeats Wonder Woman and Superman catches her. Darkseid defeats all the heroes and captures Superman.
While Batman went to saving Superman, Green Lantern gathers the others to work together against Darkseid. They plan to blind him, but when Shazam messes up the plan, Wonder Woman leads the charge. During the battle, Wonder Woman rematches Darkseid personally and takes out his right eye. Darkseid later pummels Wonder Woman into another building, but is saved by the others. The heroes fight Darkseid and manage to take out his other eye, but Darkseid still fights. Victor Stone then uses the mother boxes to send Darkseid and The parademons back to Apokolips. Darkseid manages to hold of the league until Batman and Superman arrive and together, the heroes defeat Darkseid and send him back to Apokolips.
By the next morning after the battle, The heroes are honored by The President for their efforts. Wonder Woman has a conversation with Superman and states while it was good to be part of a team, she has never met anyone like Superman, god or mortal. Superman and Wonder Woman look long at each other, causing a jealous Steve Trevor to leave the scene. Flash proposes the idea that the heroes could be a team, but Wonder Woman states she has responsibilities as does Shazam. When the president asks for the heroes names: Shazam calls the team the super seven much to the teams dismay.
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis[]
Due to her ignorance of a life outside of superhero work, Clark invites Diana on a date to a diner, while both wearing civilian garb; Diana is excited about being anonymous, and hiding, though Clark argues it is not hiding but just belonging.
Wonder Woman joins the Justice League in exploring the realities of a sunk military submarine and its lost missiles. She is able to recognise a dagger used against Cyborg, and she identifies it as an Atlantean. Thanks to following Atlantis leads, they discover Arthur Curry, who is already with royal guard, Mera; the team help defend them against Trench creatures.
When they arrive in Atlantis, they learn that Arthur's mother and ruler, Queen Atlanna, had already been murdered by her other son, Orm, who confesses this fact to them, while dressed as the Ocean Master, new king of the seas. With his hands on the royal trident, Orm is able to use the magic to trap the present League members, Arthur, and Mera.
Due to Arthur's royal blood, he is able to command their prison cocoons to release himself and the others; Superman defeats the leviathan, before they depart to stop Orm's invasion of the surface.
Orm and his Atlantean army make landfall, engaging battle with the US military, with the latter vastly outmatched by advanced Atlantean technology and magic. The League arrive, managing to push the invasion back. With superior combat skills, Wonder Woman is able to take the trident from Orm, however, it causes her intense pain due to her not being Atlantean royalty; the trident flies back to Orm, who commends her for her strength, but mocks that only a king like him can control the trident.
Since Cyborg was present for Orm's confession of matricide, he and Batman determine that since his computer brain records everything, they can play the footage to all. In giant holographic screens, Cyborg plays Orm's gleeful confession, which causes the Atlantean army to halt their attack, as they become confused, then disillusioned.
Arthur knocks out his evil half-brother, taking the trident for himself, which recognises him as a royal Atlantean. Arthur explains that his father was human and his mother was Atlantean, thus he can rule Atlantis and serve as the peaceful bridge between worlds. The Atlantean army remove their helmets and pledge loyalty to their new ruler.
The League are present in Atlantis for Arthur's official coronation, and they welcome him into the team with a name the public gave him, "Aquaman."
Justice League vs. Teen Titans[]
With the Justice League, Wonder Woman fights against the Legion of Doom, and her particular opponent was Cheetah. When the Legion is defeated, a mysterious shadow possesses Weather Wizard, who is able to use his powers without his scepter, which should be impossible. Robin sets a flight path for the Batplane to hit the WIzard, then jettisons to avoid the explosion from its collision and arsenal setting off; the Wizard is knocked off-balance, so Wonder Woman is able to use her Lasso to interrogate him. While some cryptic information is gleaned, the shadow is exorcised from the Wizard who is left amnesiac over what happened.
On a date with Clark, criticising certain movie tropes, he runs away due to struggling with an agent of Trigon, slowly taking possession of him. Eventually, Wonder Woman and the rest of the League, except Batman who incapacitates himself, are under the thrall of Trigon. Superman is exorcised, thus aids the Teen Titans in saving the other League members; Diana is cleansed, falling into the arms of Superman, where she makes a remark showing appreciation for the movie tropes that she previously disliked.
She assists the recovered League members in battling Trigon, although merely slow him slightly. In Trigon's home dimension, the Titans defend Raven, so she is able to complete an incantation that drags Trigon back to his hellish home and trapping him in an astral prison within a crystal shard.
Justice League: Dark[]
Wonder Woman appears in Justice League Dark, stopping a woman from further running over civilians with her car while hallucinating them as demonic creatures. After Superman and Batman dealt with similar cases, The Justice League held a meeting at the Hall of Justice on the recent increase of homicides around the world which she suggested is caused by some form of magic, but Batman didn't believe that to be the case. She later appears along with Superman and John Stewart trying to stop Destiny who attacking a city until they fell under his spell and began to hallucinate Batman as a demon and attempt to attack him. She was along with Superman retrained by Zatanna.
The Death of Superman[]
Wonder Woman helps Superman fight the alien monster Doomsday. She is the final Justice League member left able to fight the monster, and is able to hold her own longer than the others, but is ultimately defeated. Before she passes out, she warns Superman of Doomsday's power, and tells him to not hold back against it.
Reign of the Supermen[]
Diana is invited to lunch with Lois Lane, who asks her about the League's stance on Cyborg Superman; Diana reveals they are still uncertain, but also lets slip that she once dated Clark, with the intent of reassuring that Clark's feelings for Lois were stronger than any he had for the Amazon, which was more of a passing dalliance. Lois is startled, so Diana apologises, noting that she doesn't have any girl friends in the world of Men; Lois states she only has one or two girl friends herself, so both women decide to become supportive friends, who know the truth about the civilian and superhero identities of the supposedly deceased Clark Kent/Superman.
Wonder Woman and the Justice League are sent to the Phantom Zone, thus are unable to stand in the way of Cyborg Superman's schemes. The real Superman is resurrected, while a reluctant Lex Luthor uses a salvaged Mother Box to rescue the League, who fight the multiple cybernetically enslaved humans, while Superman himself faces his mechanical counterpart.
After the threat had been resolved, Wonder Woman calls Clark to alert him that he is needed, as well as sending her regards to Lois, which shocks Clark as his two worlds are colliding.
Later, when Lex is made a probationary member of the Justice League, she is akin to the others in being bothered by the now self-proclaimed superhero.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines[]
5 years ago, pilot Steve Trevor is flying his jet with a wingman, when a boom tube opens, unleashing Parademons. His wingman is killed, but he is able to shoot down the creatures, but not before they cause severe damage to his jet. He appears to pass an invisible veil, which reveals an unknown island, but Steve crashes into the ocean; a figure from the island dives into the sea and recovers Steve. When Steve awakens, he is being healed by the purple healing ray; his rescuer identifies herself as Diana, daughter of Hippolyta who is queen of Themiscrya. Steve explains the threat of the Parademons and need to warn his people, but he instead is imprisoned on order of Hippolyta, until a solution for the first male to step on the island. Since the Amazons determine to keep him imprisoned, Diana knocks out his guard, and escorts Steve to escape. Predicting her daughter's disobedience, Hippolyta intercepts Diana; the queen rejects her pleas to return the man to his people, thus mother and daughter battle. Diana appeared to win, so Hippolyta seems to allow her to live, but forbidding her to return and acts coldly to hide her own fear and sadness.
In the US, an archaeologist, Dr. Julia Kapatelis, excitedly opens her home for Diana to stay, much to the chagrin of her teenage daughter, Vanessa, whom she treats bossily and with less interest. Diana is happy to be welcomed, but is concerned of being a bother, which Julia denies, but Vanessa confirms to her mother's rousing. Diana tries to bond with Vanessa, as she realises her intrusion, yet wants to be friends; they bond over having ambitions different than those intended by forceful mothers.
As the years go by, Diana had begun her superhero career as Wonder Woman, which reduced her time with Vanessa. Due to Julia's workoholic lifestyle and frequent disregard for her daughter, Vanessa goes through drastic fashion changes to get attention, from goth, to pixie, to near-present day half-buzzcut. Eventually, Diana's absences would last months. Vanessa gained employment from Veronica Cale's company, the same one that employs her mother. Upon reaching present day, at the behest of Dr. Cyber, Vanessa stole a confidential item from the company, which Julia was aware of, but not wanting her daughter to face criminal charges, asks Wonder Woman and Steve for help.
Vanessa arrived at the meeting in a warehouse, but instead of Dr. Cyber, Dr. Poison and Giganta, along with armed guards, are waiting. While Vanessa is annoyed at not meeting Cyber, Poison reassures her that Cyber never does any exchange in person, and they will complete the transaction in her stead. The villains detect a superhero approaching on a scanner, thus suspect betrayal, which Vanessa denied. Diana and Steve enter, engaging combat with the armed guards; Giganta injects herself with a new serum, which surpasses her prior record for giant size. In the commotion, Poison escapes. Diana defeats Giganta, and the remaining guards. However, Julia had accompanied them to the raid, and had been lethally shot. Vanessa cradles her mother, but Julia's last words are directed to Diana. Diana tries to comfort Vanessa, but she rejects her offer, resentful of the attention she "stole" from her mother, and being the cause of her death.
As Vanessa disappeared, Diana becomes even more worried, fearing how grief would be hurting the girl, but needing to focus on finding Dr. Poison. Vanessa is discovered in Quarac, as is Poison, so Diana, Steve, and Etta Candy fly to the region. Diana tries to stop Poison, but is stopped by Vanessa, who had undergone a cybernetic procedure and now calls herself the Silver Swan. Poison is able to load her ominous cargo, then her jet leaves, with Diana unable to follow due to fighting the Swan. Diana tries to appeal to Vanessa's humanity and their friendship, but she again rejects her; Steve shoots at the Swan, distracting her so Diana can knock her unconscious.
Unsure on how to undo Vanessa's transformation, they go to Veronica Cale's company, as she has the resources, technology, and discretion, thus it avoids putting Vanessa into any legal trouble. Veronica's analysis reveals that Silver Swan was infected with a techno-organic virus, with the cybernetics not attachments, but growths from the virus remaking her body into metal; left unopposed, the virus would consume her brain, leaving her a mindless machine. Veronica explains no such technology exists that can stop the virus, which makes Diana realise that the healing purple ray on Themiscrya could save Vanessa; however, Diana admits that she doesn't know where her island home is, as a part of the warding erases knowledge of the location. With Julia's research, they realise a way forward is to drink from the fountain of Pasiphaë, which can answer any one question.
Diana, Steve, and Etta land near the location of Pasiphaë's Fountain, however, they are ambushed by the Cheetah. Diana tells her friends to find the fountain, while she fights Cheetah. Steve and Etta learn, to their disdain, that the labyrinth connection to Pasiphaë wasn't a metaphor, so they are forced to navigate the massive maze. Meanwhile, Cheetah reveals that she and others had joined a Villainy Incorporated as to gain revenge on the Amazon hero; Cheetah injects herself with a compound, which causes her to grow taller, more muscular, and less humanoid. Cheetah's new form also grants her super speed, which she uses to repeatedly slice at Diana.
In the maze, Steve and Etta irritably learn another part of the myth being true, which is the Minotaur. The large bullman charges at the duo, though is too animalistic to know tactics. Steve is able to trick the Minotaur into bursting through wall after wall, getting deeper into the centre of the labyrinth, and thus Pasiphaë's Fountain. Due to causing itself injury on each impact, as well as wasting energy, when Steve and Etta find the fountain, the Minotaur collapsed from exhaustion.
Diana is able to subvert Cheetah's speed advantage by forcing her into the cargo hold of the invisible jet; without running room, Cheetah is summarily overpowered, and hog-tied by the Lasso of Truth. Diana flies to the labyrinth core, and fills an available goblet with the special water; when she drinks it, she has visions of various fish, and her island home, and other mysteries. The Minotaur awakens, but before he can charge again, Diana destroys the fountain, which frees him from the protection spell binding his mind and loyalty. The Minotaur is grateful for his freedom, so offers his loyalty to Diana; as a joke, Steve calls him Ferdinand, however, he likes the name so adopts it as his own.
Back at Cale's building, Diana struggles to make sense of her vision from Pasiphaë. They realise that the fish are the clues, which Veronica notes as important, since the Mediterranean Sea is so overfished that certain species only appear in specific areas. As Diana points at the types of fish she saw, the map overlaps various regions, but only one spot has all of the fish, and a satellite image detects an "underwater" island, which in reality is another illusion to hide Themiscrya. Before they celebrate, Dr. Cyber appears on every screen, mockingly thanking Diana for finding the island for her, then triggers the floor's quarantine protocol, which will purge it with fire due to being false viral leak alarm.
Dr. Cyber reactivates Silver Swan, who battles with Wonder Woman through a hole she made to evacuate. Diana continues to offer help and compassion to Vanessa, but she hysterically keeps fighting. After knocking Swan down, Diana goes to rescue her allies; while wanting to pursue, Dr. Cyber orders Swan to retreat and rendezvous. Diana saves Veronica, Etta, and finally Steve.
Needing to save Themiscrya from Dr. Cyber, Diana and her two friends fly to the location. On the way, Steve converses with Diana; she mentions how the image of the perfect hero that everyone has of her isn't really her. Diana notes the facts that she stole the Amazonian armour when she left home, and believes she was disowned by her own mother. Steve counters her self-deprecation with the facts of how wonderful she truly is, and he hopes she would be less harsh on herself to see that. Diana and Steve kiss, but Etta interrupts as they arrived in Themiscrya.
Dr. Cyber's jet repeatedly fires at the main gates, until they are destroyed. Dr. Cyber commands Silver Swan to attack the invisible jet, while she and Dr. Poison, along with the mystery Quaraci containment cell, reach the ground. Silver Swan damages the invisible jet, until disrupting its integrity; Etta demands Diana and Steve leave, while she does an emergency landing. Diana flies into a struggle with Silver Swan, as Steve parachutes to the ground.
Dr. Cyber opens the containment cell, which is revealed to be Medusa. Cyber orders the Gorgon to attack the Amazon city, so she can harvest its technologies and resources. Medusa impales her fist through Cyber, scathingly retorting she doesn't follow orders, especially not from a mechanical puppet, with Cyber revealed to be a robot. Dr. Poison tries to appeal to Medusa's ego, but Medusa grabs her throat; Poison reveals a syringe with a compound that will augment Medusa's power. Poison pleads for mercy, but is turned to stone by Medusa's gaze; despite this, Medusa takes the syringe from her gravel body, and injects herself, which causes her to grow to an even larger stature than Giganta. Medusa begins her vengeance against the Amazons by entering the city.
Wonder Woman once again defeats Silver Swan, and once again claims that she doesn't care what Vanessa has done, she is still considered a friend and sister. Medusa petrifies and shatters dozens of Amazonian warriors. Diana blocks her path forward, requesting that Medusa forsake revenge, however, the giant Gorgon refuses this path, and attacks Diana. To help, Steve shoots at Medusa, but he too is petrified to Diana's distress, and her rage pushes her to cut off one of Medusa's serpent hairs.
During the battle, Silver Swan recovers and begins assisting Diana, finally understanding her intentions were always compassionate. Medusa uses her secondary spell of compulsive gaze, which draws a victim into staring at her, thereby allowing her to petrify them; Vanessa struggles to resist, so Diana forcefully holds her down, claiming that she won't be able to see the monster through her, Medusa then deems to target Diana herself; to avoid the gaze, Diana uses the cut serpent hair, and forces its venom into her own eyes to blind herself.
Diana displays profound capability in spite of her loss of sight, yet as her and Medusa's brutal prolonged battle continues, Diana takes the majority of damage. However, with Vanessa's distraction, Diana is able to decapitate Medusa; the gigantic Medusa's body and head turn to stone, then crumble into rubble. Any victim of petrification - who was still in one piece - were restored to life with Medusa's death, including Steve.
Injuries from the battle, as well as Vanessa's techno-organic virus, are permeated with the purple healing rays, which reverses all damage and removes infection. Queen Hippolyta, impressed by her daughter's bravery and strength, even against her, apologises for disowning her out of pride and fear, and she allows Diana to become Themiscrya's ambassador between the Amazons and the World of Men, and she will be free to travel between and within both. To help with her emotional recovery, Vanessa is permitted to stay with the Amazons until she achieves a sense of equilibrium. Diana is granted the privilege of initiating an esteemed athletic games for the Amazons to celebrate.
In Veronica Cale's office, the door is burst by kick from Wonder Woman. Veronica aloofly welcomes her, but Diana reveals that she realised from the way they were constantly ambushed that the true mastermind behind Villainy Inc. wasn't Dr. Cyber, since she was merely a puppet controlled by the true villain, Veronica. Veronica arrogantly acknowledges the reveal, and being the killer of Julia, as well as taunting Diana for being so gullible she could be easily manipulated. Diana expresses bitter gratitude, since the criminal's actions indirectly and unintentionally allowed Diana to repair her relationship with her mother. Veronica then gloats that she knows where Temiscrya is now, so can return anytime she wants; Diana, however, counters by noting that she is the official protector of the Amazons now, thus any attack will be met with retaliation Veronica can't withstand. Diana stabs her sword in Veronica's desk, sarcastically noting that she did want *something* from Themiscrya, and now she has something to back up her feeble threats. Veronica tries and fails to remove the sword, ranting threats and rejection of intimidation at the departing princess.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War[]
Wonder Woman learns that Doomsday and Cyborg Superman were both plans orchestrated by Darkseid to conquer the Earth. She joins the Justice League in Superman's plan to invade Apokolips to destroy Darksied once and for all. While the invasion teams are prepared for Parademons, they are caught completely off-guard by Darkseid's latest army of Paradooms, which were Parademons altered with and thus empowered by Doomsday's cells.
Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman are the among the very few survivors, other than John Constantine who fled, and despite a valiant fight, they are defeated. Diana suffered horrific injuries, but Darkseid uses his cybernetic technology to repair her body, yet also brainwashes her into being a loyal servant and leader of his new Furies, the other members being revived as cyborgs and similarly controlled superheroes of Mera, Martian Manhunter, Starfire. and Hawkman.
2 years later, a team of Superman, Constantine, Robin, Raven, and Etrigan infiltrate Apokolips, but they are discovered by the Furies, forcing both groups into battle. Etrigan engages a duel with Wonder Woman, with both seeming even, however, she overpowers him, stabbing her sword through his heart, which disintegrates but the damage remained; she then kicked his body off the walkway into a fire pit. Constantine is able to telekinetically draw the Lasso of Truth to his grip, with the rest of the rope wrapping and holding back Wonder Woman; Constantine uses the ancient magic of the Lasso and Diana's Amazonian nature, conjuring a spell that freed her from Darkseid's brainwashing.
Back to her own will, Wonder Woman fights the other four Furies, to allow the surviving members of the infiltration team to continue their mission into Darkseid's castle. She holds the attention of the Furies, managing to hold her own, until eventually falling to the disadvantage. Before the Furies kill her, inside the castle, Constantine performs a techno-magic spell that breaks Darkseid's hold on Cyborg, who was the source of the subjugation signals, therefore his freedom also releases the other Furies.
Once Constantine and a recovered Raven conjure a body for Trigon, so the dark deity can fight Darkseid, a boom tube is activated by Cyborg to allow the heroes to escape, afterwards he transports Apokolips, the Paradooms, and both warring gods into a dimension of nothingness.
While Darkseid's invasion was defeated and the god himself banished forever, the damage done to Earth was still severe, with half the population killed during the occupation, and the world itself with 31% of its molten core gone, meaning the orbit will drop out of balance, which would result in billions more dead before any solution could be achieved. Wonder Woman converses with Batman and Superman for possible solutions, yet struggle to find one without more mass casualties.
Constantine convinces Flash that the only way to save the world is to trigger another Flashpoint. Despite his reluctance, Flash acquiesces to the suggestion; when the Flash disappears into the horizon, a white light expands, covering everything as reality is rewritten once again. The Trinity are the last three of the surviving heroes to vanish, hoping to be reborn in a universe with a clean slate.
Tomorrowverse[]
A version of Diana would become Wonder Woman during World War II; she had Steve Trevor as a love interest, but never accepted his feelings due to wanting to focus on the war. Before she was ready to reciprocate, Steve was killed by the villainous Adviser (who'd become Psycho-Pirate soon).
Much like her DCAMU counterpart, she entered a romantic relationship with Superman, although it was more akin to filling a void, as both had lost their previous true loves, Diana to tragedy, and Clark to time. While Superman will have an extraordinarily long life, it will still be shorter than her immortal one, yet it's a fact that she accepted just to be with someone who won't die so soon.
To escape the Anti-Monitors' complete annihilation of the multiverse, the surviving heroes and villains need a machine of godlike power, which is found in the Miracle Machine; however, its godlike power needed energy from divinity, thus Wonder Woman sacrificed her godhood, immortality, and life, which provided the necessary power to craft a new reality - a monoverse, in which all variants would be combined and reborn into new singular selves.
In the monoverse's Themiscrya, Diana had been reborn and had grown to be a child once more and the for the first time in the new reality.
Personality[]
She has a somewhat childish nature. She bails on meeting the president because she didn't want to wait, cares little to nothing about the customs of the Nation she is in, and constantly thrusts her sword at people which clearly terrifies them. It has gotten so bad that at the beginning of War, there is a protest group wanting her gone. She is practically ecstatic when entering into a battle, giving major blows to enemies. Her interactions with Hannah Grace indicates that she has a soft spot for children.
She can be boisterous, battle for ask questions act and smug. She has a love for battle. She even admits that fighting is what she is good at compared to being a diplomat, which begs the question why Paradise Island would send her in the first place if she's incapable of being a diplomat (though, like most versions, it is likely that she won the tournament that granted her the right to fill the role). She's much calmer and closer to her traditional personality by her third movie when compared to her first one. She is able to remain stoic in the most nightmarish situations, yet still being capable of offering comfort to others during such times.
On an increasingly kind scale, she is compassionate to everyone, even enemies - such as the protestor who she uses the Lasso of Truth on to learn his true feelings, afterwards not mocking his transvestite hobby, rather genuinely cheering for it; also, there are times in which she tries to dissuade an enemy from fighting, at least when they were friends who became unwitting pawns, like Silver Swan. Though, she even tries to convince Medusa to abandon her vengeance, forgiving the Gorgon's past mistakes to find peace, however, in this case, it fails, thus Diana doesn't shy away from combat when needed.
She doesn't experience jealousy, and once a relationship ends - at least romantic - she either moves on or realises that there weren't significant romantic feelings to begin with, thus moves on easier. She even encourages Clark to commit himself to Lois by revealing his secret identity, since she sees that he loves her deeply, yet holds back out of fear, thus Diana, wanting the best for her friend, continues to gently push him. She has a lack of jealousy, but it may blind her to when others feel it, since when bonding with Lois, she doesn't quite understand how intimidated Lois feels, following a literal goddess; this obliviousness can be corrected, although it does take significant social cues for her to understand.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Powers:
- Super strength: Wonder Woman was able to slaughter several Parademons with her sword and was strong enough to effectively punch Darkseid and Shazam. She was also able to knock Beast Boy unconscious as an elephant with one punch.
- Flight: As an Amazon, Wonder Woman has the ability of flight and saved the President of the United States after he fell out of a plane.
- Breathe Underwater: Wonder Woman was able to breathe underwater when the Justice League traveled to Atlantis.
- Superhuman durability: Wonder Woman has shown to be highly resistant to blunt force such as from Doomsday's hits, Darkseid's punches, Starfire's starbolts, and blows from Trigon. However, she can be harmed by bullets.
- Superhuman Reaction Time
- Superhuman Stamina
- Increased Healing Speed: While she doesn't have a healing factor, she can recover from most wounds much faster than an average person, with slices and abrasions healing in less than a day, and broken bones in a few days. Severe injuries, such as mutilation of her eyes, require the purple healing ray to recover properly.
- Abilities:
- Master Hand to hand combat: As an Amazon warrior, Wonder Woman is a formidable hand to hand combatant, and was able to blind Darkseid in one of his eyes using her sword. She is also able to take on Atlantean soldiers, Starfire, and hold her own against Superman and Doomsday. When freed from mental subjugation by Constantine, she was also able to single-handedly battle Darkseid's still brainwashed Furies (Mera, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, and Starfire), who were all cybernetically augmented to beyond their prior limits, yet she held her own long enough to avoid defeat before they were also freed from mind-control.
- Tactical Expertise
- Female Fury Powers:
- All of her existing powers, plus cybernetic enhancements that augment her strength and durability.
- Her inherent swordsmanship may have been increased as well, since she could counter and defeat Etrigan, a demon who spent millennia in Hell fighting various opponents.
Equipment[]
- Lasso of Truth: Anyone with the lasso of truth around them is compelled to tell the truth. Diana used it on one of the protesters to find out what he really thought of her. Similarly, as an Amazon, if she is brainwashed, a skilled enough magical practitioner can use the Lasso to liberate her mind.
- Sword: Wonder Woman's main weapon that she wields with great proficiency, such as in her fight with Darkseid.

Trivia[]
- Michelle Monaghan, who voiced Wonder Woman in Justice League: War, was nine months pregnant while doing ADR for the film.
- Due to scheduling conflicts, Michelle Monaghan couldn't return to voice Wonder Woman in Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, she was replaced by Rosario Dawson who voiced the character for her remaining DCAMU appearances. Dawson also voiced another Amazon in Artemis in the 2009 film Wonder Woman.
- She at first wears a uniform based upon the one in the New 52 for the majority of the franchise, but by Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, she wears a uniform more akin to the classic Wonder Woman garb.
- She is one of the few versions that enters a romantic relationship with Superman, although this is typically not an especially popular decision.
- Their relationship begins in the DCAMU debut, Justice League: War, and ends sometime off-screen before The Death of Superman, during which Superman starts a relationship with Lois Lane (briefly delayed by his temporary death). Diana's more common love interest is Steve Trevor, who was her diplomatic handler in War, and she starts dating him in Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Though, unlike Clark and Lois, Diana and Steve's relationship isn't really explored, since the subsequent film is Justice League Dark: Apokalips War, has Steve die, while Diana gets horrifically maimed and modified into a brainwashed cyborg Fury, though is ultimately freed (albeit still a cyborg).
