Wyatt Bernstein is one of two main protagonists (alongside Crash Bernstein) of the 2012-2014 Disney XD series Crash and Bernstein.

He is a 12-year-old boy among three sisters who wishes to have a brother, the middle child in the Bernstein family and a founding member of The XD Squad.

He is portrayed by Cole Jensen.

Profile[]

He is the last known survivor of the city he comes from and previously the only male child in the Bernstein household, longing to have a brother he can do guy stuff with. Completely fed up with his mother and his sister's antics, and always being brought to girly stuff with; this was what got him wanting to have a brother at that point, especially when his sisters and mom take him to Build-A-Bestie Workshop for his 12th birthday. He first creates a bestie with the type of manly personality he would want his brother to have, named Crash. Later that evening, Crash becomes alive and Wyatt quickly takes a liking to him. His sisters and mother, on the other hand, immediately label Crash annoying and destructive and Mel Bernstein even tries to throw out.

Bernstein and Crash have a feud later on when Crash cuts down the wall to their apartment with a power saw in attempt to get Wyatt his own room. But the two make up later on when given the opportunity to earn the money to fix the wall by destroying the Build-A-Bestie Workshop, and both are satisfied. Wyatt and Crash have a brotherly relationship as they always got each other's backs, no matter what, and they genuinely have fun doing crazy things with each other.

Heroic Acts[]

Season 1[]

"Party Crasher", Wyatt overcomplimenting Amanda helped him, Crash and Pesto get into the high school party after Crash's attempts repeatedly backfired.
"Motorcycle Crash", he lets Pesto and Crash bond with each other, even if it meant letting Wyatt get left out.
"Undercover Crash", not only does he gets Crash to learn the error of his ways with stealing stuff from the arcade, but he also contributes to using Crash to defeat Doris, a sadistic con-artist at the arcade who was fighting Wyatt and Crash, to get arrested by the cops.
"Release the Crashen", he and Crash both help the Bernsteins find a way to detach themselves away from obnoxious and oppressive neighbors like Gerry and Gretchen. Wyatt (with Crash) does this by getting Mel to spend time with Gerry's mother Gretchen who has the same habits that Gerry has.
"Comic Book Crash", he and Crash (in heroic roles as The Shredder and Mr. Purple) to go retrieve Jumper, a basset hound that Jasmine has been dog sitting, from the dog thief. With some minor help from the Possum (played by Mr. Poulos), they all defeat the dog thief, and save the dog.
"Parade Crasher", he and Crash help Roland prepare for the annual Portland Day Parade in order for them to complete the two hours of community service, which allowed Crash and Wyatt to move onto 8th grade.
"Crash Asks Too Many Questions", Wyatt helps getting Cassie her voicing job back by entering his family on the game show "Crazy Family Awesome Time Portland".
"Crash on the Run", he helps saving Crash from a Build-a-Bestie Retrieval Unit agent named Mr. Green, from trying to kill Crash with a wood chipper, even when it means leading his family in a rescue mission to save Crash and disguising himself as a bear to fool Mr. Green and rescue Crash.

Season 2[]

"The Nosejob Job", he helps getting his, Crash and Pesto's hangout spot back by pretending to be a savagely brute with tearing off Crash's jelly "nose" to terrify the tyrannical nerdy teenagers who took over Wyatt's and Crash's hangout area, into thinking Bernstein tore off Crash's 'bloody nose' to make retreat and fear Bernstein.
"Frat Chance", upon getting kicked out of a fraternity, he teaches Crash a lesson about brotherhood when the members of the frat took advantage of Crash and used him to commit crimes.

Personality[]

At first, he's embittered and fed up with a female environment, and was shown to be zealous in his opportunity to have a manly brother to live out his manhood with. Before Crash came, Wyatt seemed rather grumpy, but after Crash came, he has had a lot more fun with life. He becomes more relaxed and calmer around his family thanks to having Crash around.

Even though he and Crash are brothers that love doing crazy activities with each other, Wyatt serves as the voice of reason to Crash's comedically reckless and chaotic antics, often correcting him about a random hypothesis Crash makes, providing sarcastic one-liners towards Crash for his silliness, or carefully warning him of the dangers Crash can encounter before Crash acts dumb or crazy. Sometimes he has his sadistic moments towards Crash even though Wyatt means well.

Even though he has his moments of being rude, snarky, and arrogant, but he can't hold a grudge and always tries to do what's right, especially towards Crash's irresponsible nature.

Powers and Skills[]

Engineering: Despite not doing well at school, he can build a large robot in under a day.
Cunning: Whenever he plays games with Crash, gets into anything harmless or dangerous, he's always strategizing his plans of action. Which he can use to his advantage upon knowing what he's going for.

Wyatt lives in Portland, Oregon, in an apartment with three sisters and his mom.
- His dad, Karl Bernstein, is a wildlife photographer, resulting in him being far away from home most of the time and rarely being able to visit.
He hates Mayonnaise because he thinks it taste too weird and thinks of it as the equivalent to white-colored diarrhea.
He thinks Czechoslovakia isn't a country. Technically though, he's right— it doesn't exist anymore.
