Lucy, commonly known as Wyldstyle, is one of the three main protagonists, alongside Batman and Gandalf, of the toys-to-life video game LEGO Dimensions. She is a Master Builder from The LEGO Movie dimension who joins Batman and Gandalf on their multiversal quest to save Metalbeard, and later the entire multiverse, from Lord Vortech.
It's implied that Wyldstyle's background was roughly the same as depicted in The LEGO Movie. Since LEGO Dimensions seemingly takes place after the movie's events, she and her friends have likely already defeated Lord Business.
LEGO Dimensions[]
Wyldstyle and her friends were having a dance-off in Cloud Cuckoo Land, which she won. Metalbeard presented the winner with a treasure chest, at which point he was abducted by Lord Vortech due to possessing a Foundation Element. Soon after, a vortex dropped Batman and Gandalf into the area, but they were not the Batman and Gandalf from Wyldstyle's dimension, but rather their alternate counterparts. The three were then sucked into another vortex, transporting them to the planet Vorton, where an interdimensional gateway was located. For some time, Wyldstyle, Batman and Gandalf used the Gateway to travel dimensions in search of the five Keystones that a disembodied voice directed them to find, retrieving them from the Land of Oz, Springfield, Chen's Island, Trenzalore and Metropolis. During a trip to Hill Valley, they encountered Lord Vortech for the first time, and after getting back to Vorton, they reassembled a few pieces of the Gateway and realized who the voice guiding them belonged to: X-PO, Lord Vortech's former servant. He told them of his master's plan and urged them to find Foundation Elements across the multiverse before he cold use them to take control over every dimension.
Wyldstyle, Batman and Gandalf continued travelling the multiverse and fighting Vortech's minions to secure the Foundation Elements. When they reached Vortech's headquarters on Foundation Prime, however, they were captured by Vortech's minions, who had already mugged X-PO of the Foundation Elements he had, allowing the evil lord to summon the Foundation of All Dimensions and combine Robin, Frodo and Metalbeard into a mech called The Tri. After defeating The Tri, the three heroes assembled an army of heroes and villains across the multiverse to face off against Lord Vortech. With their combined efforts, Lord Vortech was defeated and imprisoned in a remote dimension. It's unknown what happened to Wyldstyle afterwards, but she likely returned to her home dimension eventually.
Personality[]
In terms of personality, Wyldstyle is roughly identical to her canon counterpart, being rebellious, courageous and ready to fight for justice. She, however, seems to have way more affection for cute and colorful things than in the movies' continuity.
Trivia[]
Wyldstyle is one of the three characters who can locate Dementhors, the other two being Bad Cop and Chase McCain. It's possible that this is due to her having seen Vitruvius die.
