Wyrdeer is a Normal/Psychic-type Pokémon that inhabits the Hisui region (which was later renamed Sinnoh) and is the evolution of Stantler.
Physiology[]
Wyrdeer is a large, hoofed quadruped with a big brown nose and long antlers that hold a pair of black orbs. It's body is mostly covered in bright gray fur, but the hair on it's ankles and tail match the color of It's full white beard.
The orbs on Wyrdeer's horns are capable of generating psychic energy which it uses to defend itself and is said to be powerful enough to distort space. It can also use it's antlers to find safe routes for Stantler herds to use as they travel across the land. A Wyrdeer's fur is able to retain heat which keeps it warm in colder climates.
Biography[]
Pokémon Legends Arceus[]
Wyrdeer is one of ten Noble Pokémon whose ancestor was bless by the deity Arceus and is watched over by the Diamond Clan. It was chased out of it's habit at Deertrack Heights by an Alpha Kricketune until the player manages to defeat the trespassing Pokémon in battle. Grateful for the help, Wyrdeer befriends the player and can be summoned using the Celestica Flute to assist them. Wyrdeer will carry the player on it's back as it quickly gallops across the land's vast terrain and is also able to leap over obstacles.
Stantler caught by the player can evolve into Wyrdeer by using the move Psyshield Bash in Agile Style 20 times.
Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet[]
Wyrdeer can only in these games by transferring it from Pokémon: Legends Arceus. Likewise, Stantlers caught in either Scarlet or Violet cannot evolve into Wyrdeer without transferring it to the forementioned game.
