Yae Miko (model name Guuji Yae) is a major supporting playable character from the 2020 video game Genshin Impact where she serves as one of the central protagonists of Chapter II of the Archon Quests, alongside Thoma.
She is voiced by Ratana Therakulsathit in English and Ayane Sakura in Japanese is known for voicing Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia and by Mingya Du in Chinese. Both Mingya and Sakura also voiced Yae Sakura from the Honkai series.
Appearance[]
Yae Miko bears a strong resemblance to Yae Sakura who has long pink hair and purple eyes. She has her hair tied loose into a low tail with a golden accessory on the back and low pink fox ears with earrings which contains the Electro Vision. She wears a shrine maiden dress with floral prints and sandals.
Biography[]
Yae Miko is the head shrine maiden of the Grand Narukumi Shrine in Inazuma and she is part of the Kitsune Lineage.
She is first shown when an old man named Domon who is needing exorcism and she says that Domon has not been possessed by anything but he is suffering with a spiritual collapse unable to cope with pressure when he lost his vision and meets with the traveler whom she grew fond of and has high hopes for them.
Powers and Abilities[]
Yae Miko uses the Electro element and wields a catalyst in battle alongside with her gohei. She attacks with Spiritfox Sin-Eater as her normal attack and deals electro damage to her enemies.
Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura[]
Yae Miko summons a Sesshou Sakura and teleports causing her foes to be electrified and be used three times.
Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin[]
Yae Miko will unseal nearby Sesshou Sakura, destroying their outer forms and transforming them into Tenko Thunderbolts that descend from the skies, dealing AoE Electro Damage to her enemies.

- Yae Miko is loosely based on the Honkai Impact 3rd character, Yae Sakura, sharing the same Japanese (Ayane Sakura) and Chinese (Du Mingya) voice actresses.
- Her birthday is June 27, 26 days ahead of Sakura Yae.
- Her favorite food is fried tofu (or abura-age) and her specialty dish is Fukuuchi Udon.
