Yellow Gold (엘로우 골드, 黃依依) is one of the seven main protagonists in the Rainbow Bubblegem series. As with the other six, Yellow Gold is one of the seven Mermaid Princesses, working alongside them and her fairy companion Shailam to protect the word from Black Diamond's Blob forces.
Gold is voiced in the Korean dub by Kim Eun-Ah. In the Chinese dub, she is voiced by Cui Wanwan. Musripah Ipe Agha voices her in Indonesia. In the Russian Dub, has her voiced by Alexandra Bogdanovich.

Physical Appearance[]
As with the other six Mermaid Princesses, Yellow Gold can shift between three forms, which all have fair skin, blue eyes whose pupils have yellow ribbons pictured within them, and yellow hair tied in two buns not unlike Princess Leia from Star Wars.
In her natural mermaid form, Gold has a yellow tail with pale yellow fins that look like a ribbon. Her outfit in this form is made of a light yellow tiara with a ribbon pictured on the gem and a lime green top with pale yellow cap sleeves.
In her human disguise, Gold is given a long-sleeved yellow dress, brown trousers, and darker brown boots. Around her neck is a small blue bandana over a necklace with a bow on it.
In her powered-up Magical Girl form, called "Ribbon Yellow," Gold has rainbows in her eyes to accompany the ribbon images, and her hair receives pink and green highlights. Her outfit consists of a yellow beret, a yellow dress with a rainbow ribbon on the chest area, yellow gloves, and yellow boots with thick rainbow outlines.
Personality[]
As a shy girl of few words, Gold is normally silent and very reserved, talking with very few, with her magical pet being one of the few individuals she talks to. Deep down however, she is a sweet, caring person who is willing to help others when they need her. She is also very creative, and loves to draw, spending most of her free time painting in art rooms.
Powers and Abilities[]
In all three forms, Gold can bring her drawings to life. Her weapon as Ribbon Yellow is called the "Magic Brush," manifesting as a paintbrush. She can trap enemies with a large magic ribbon of energy, which is how she trapped a Blob monster in The Suspicious Art Room before strangling him to death.
Trivia[]
- Yellow Gold is similar to Adeleine and Ado from the Kirby games, as they are artists who can bring drawings to life.
- Gold shares Blue Sapphire's oddity of not reverting back to mermaid form when they leave their respective Rainbow Catchers behind. It is possible their reversion lasts longer than those of the other Mermaid Princesses and their Rainbow Catchers were returned to them too fast for it to occur.
