The Yeti, also known as the Abominable Snowman, is a legendary cryptid that lives in Himalayas. However, many countries have variations of the beast. Often considered a relative of sorts to the Bigfoot (also known as Sasquatch), the Yeti stands out as being benevolent and friendly most of the time, but aggressive on occasion as well, at least in the folklore of the local people who live in the area.
History[]
The Yetis were peaceful creatures, that were very shy, and lived in dense snow caves on the glaciers which form the Ganges River in India. The Yeti as name consider Dzu-teh name for a himalayan brown bear.
Although by far not the most dangerous of cryptids said to exist (and certainly not the most dangerous being of folklore), the Yeti is nevertheless often believed to be a creature that is best left alone. It is also a popular basis for many monsters in fiction, due to it being a more peaceful beast or monster can be friend.
The Yeti is often as omnivores, it eats plants and other animals including bugs, fish, antelope, monkeys, ducks, rodents and deer.
The Yeti is similar of gigantopithecus.
