Yoichi Isagi is the main protagonist of the manga and anime series Blue Lock.
He is a second-year student at Ichinan High School who was a player for the school's football team. After losing a match and arriving at the Blue Lock facility like all the other 300 participants and became a member of Team Z for the First Selection. He's main goal is to become the world's best striker.
He was voiced by Kazuki Ura in Japanese and Ricco Fajardo in English.
Appearance[]
Yoichi is an average height teenager with dark blue hairs (black in manga) and blue eyes. As a student in Ichinan High School, he wore an unbuttoned blazer over a white undershirt and striped tie.
As a participant of the project he wears the standard dark blue lock uniform with blue lines all over his body, a number that changes overtime that displays his rank among the other participant in the facility. And as a member of Team Z he wears the 11# blue jersey.
Abilities[]
- Transcendence Sight/Metavision: Isagi can uses his eyes to collect informations from every players on the field, including their movements, their weaknesses, positions and even their playing styles. As he can uses these informations to stop other players. For instance like he did with Micheal Kaiser, after observing his plan for scoring a goal, Isagi took the utility of his eyesight and mixed it with his own techniques and play styles.
- Spatial Awarness: Similar to Transcendence Sight, Isagi can observe the entire field which gives him a large comprehension of the ongoing match and both his teamate and oppponent's "weapons". Thanks to these comprehension he can make precise predictions throught the match. Many other players have this skills, but Isagi has some of the greatest Transcendence Sight in the facility.
