Yoichi Nagumo is a major character in the action manga and anime series, Sakamoto Days. He is a powerful assassin who is part of the Order in the Japanese Association of Assassins. He is also a great friend of one of the organization's former members, Taro Sakamoto, a legendary assassin. He makes his introduction in the story when he impersonates Sakamoto by disguising him to trick one of his friend's workers, Shin Asakura, before informing his friend that a bounty has recently been put on him.

Appearance[]

Nagumo is a handsome middle-aged man of tall height with messy black hair and black irises. His casual outfit is usually a polo along with black pants. Sometimes he sports a formal black suit with a black necktie and white shirt.

Occasionally throughout the series, as the master of disguises, Nagum can easily disguise himself into almost whoever he wants to impersonate. This could be first seen when he was dressed identically as Sakamoto to the point Shin was unaware that it was not actually him.

Known Tattoos[]

Although not often seen under his attires, Nagumo has many tatoos that are mostly related to mathematics. For practice, one of them is directly referencing to the Golden Ratio in mathematics.

One of the only tattoos that is visible with his clothes is the one on his neck, the Golden spiral.
Two tattoos of rectangular shapes are printed on both of his hands, which is another one related to the golden ratio.
A complex formula: is printed on his right upper arm.

Personality[]

Nagumo likes to casually interact with others with his optimistic and friendly attitude, resulting in a smiley expression.He tends to tease some of his comrade assassins, such as Hyo, causing him to threaten to kill him if he does it again. Aware of his exceptional talents as an assassin, he is unfazed and fearless in his fights. He loves pulling all sorts of tricks whether it is an enemy or a friend, including when he impersonates Sakamoto to trick Shin or when he ambushes Shin by stabbing him in the neck with a rubber knife.

For enemies, the serial killer Minimalist can be exemplified when he was tricked by a Nagumo disguised as Sakamoto's wife. He only reveals himself when the men attempt to kill him by fighting back and gravely injuring him. He shows him a die to see by which side it will fall to choose the blade that he will be killed by.
