Yona, also known as Yona Yak, is one of supporting characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a female yak and the muscles of the "Young Six" who first appeared in season eight premiere "School Daze" as a student of Twilight Sparkle's School of Friendship.
Yona is a yak who has a stout body. She has a long auburn hair which she braids into curls. Yona has lime green eyes and light brown fur. Additionally, she has short horns and wears a turquoise poncho on her back.
Personality[]
Yona is generally a friendly yak who is quite willing to help out her friends and others without any question. However, she has the unfortunate habit of accidentally breaking things due to be klutzy.

Yona is one of two members of the Young Six (as well as its only female member) who is unable to fly; the other being Sandbar.
Yona is the only member of the Young Six whose name does not begin or end with the letter "S".
