Samuel Michelangelo Rosenbaum (better known as Yosemitе Sаm) is thе sеcondary antagonist of the Looney Tunes franchise. He is Bugs Bunny's second arch-nemesis (after Elmer Fudd)
He was created because Friz Freleng needed a much more dangerous antagonist to be Bugs Bunny's enemy since Elmer Fudd was considered too soft.
He was also one of the members of a Looney Tunes team called the Tune Squad.
He was voiced by late Mel Blanc (1945–1986, 1989), late Joe Alaskey (1988–1992, 1995, 2010–2011), Jeff Bergman (1990–1992, 2014), Charlie Adler (1990), late Greg Burson (1991–1997), Maurice LaMarche (1992–2017), Jim Cummings (1996–2014), Bill Farmer (1996), Jeff Bennett (2003–2004), and currently Fred Tatasciore.
Personality
He is short man who is mostly evil, dangerous, grumpy, explosive, bad-tempered and loud, but sometimes has good intentions. Sam quickly became just as hopeless as Elmer Fudd, though he is more dangerous and only a bit more smart than him.
Unlike Elmer, Sam does not fall for the same trick twice. He was even willing to shoot Santa if he doesn't give him any presents.
