Yossha (ヨッシャー) is the only friendly character in the Okaasan to Issho series of animated shorts and picture books Yowamushi Monsters. She is the viewer/reader's ally who helps defeat monsters.
She and the monsters are designed by Nobumi. In Okaasan to Issho, she is voiced by Ai Nonaka, who also voices Kyoko Sakura.
Appearance[]
Yossha is an angel-like creature. Her limbs, wings, and head are white and her torso is pink. Her head is drop-shaped with two green leaf-like extensions on the top. She has yellow-pupil eyes and a brown nose.
Role[]
She tells the viewer/reader on how to repel monsters from attacking them. For example, to defeat the wolf-like monster Oshiri pēn, she slaps her own buttocks so the wolf's buttocks swells and he runs away. At the end of every episode, Yossha poses and says her name, which means "Got it."
