Yuriko Takagi is a supporting protagonist in the manga/anime series Highschool of the Dead. She is Saya Takagi's mother and the wife of Souichiro Takagi. It is indicated by Saya that Yuriko is also a genius, and she is where Saya gets her intelligence from.
In Japanese version, she is voiced by Yoshiko Sakakibara, also voiced Integra Hellsing in Hellsing.

Biography[]
Yuriko was once a New York Stock Broker who later married her future husband Souichiro Takagi, after she was impressed with his charisma and political skills. Thanks to her business connections, the Takagi family fortune rises significantly. They would later have a daughter named Saya.
After the apocalypse happened, she and her husband used their wealth to built a safe place for people not infected by the virus. After "them" broke into the Takagi mansion, Yuriko convinces Saya to leave the mansion with her friends while she and Souichiro tried to fight off "them", presumably dying with her husband.
Abilities[]
Yuriko has used a CZE VZ 83 sub-machine-gun and a FN Browning M1910 pistol strapped to her thigh, and she's the one who gave her daughter the Kiku Crest Luger P08.
