Yuichiro Hanma (範馬 勇 一郎, Hanma Yūichirō) is an important figure of Manga Hanma Baki and is the father of Yujiro Hanma and grandfather of Jack Hanma and Baki Hanma. He is the only other man besides Yujiro to defeat the United States on a small island of Okinawa during the Second World War. He is also known to have defeated 1,000 US soldiers using a technique.

Abilites

The true depths of Yuichiro's strength are still unknown, but it is very likely that those who met and faced him would suggest that he is inhumanly strong and different from any fighter. As such demonstrated in the battle of Okinawa to be the only other man in the world besides his son to defeat the United States alone during the Second World War. It is not known if Yuichiro is stronger than Yujiro, but it is assumed that this is the only man Yujiro can not defeat.

Yuichiro is only known to use a technique to defeat a thousand US soldiers in the Iowa battleship. A lot of soldiers call this technique "dressed" only for Yujiro to correct the dress. In Baki Gaiden's first cap: Kenjin reveals that Yuichiro was not afraid of losing fights for money. Doppo Orochi confronts his face Yuichiro for this, saying that he let his opponent Rikigouzan trample the Japanese martial arts and get hurt and having the bandaged eye. While he is leaving to face it and fix things, but it ends up by perhaps breaking Yuichiro's jaw. This probably suggests that Yuichiro could be weaker than his son. However, it is not known whether Yuichiro would simply let Doppo attack him as a test method.

Personalites

It is said that Yuichiro Hanma is the opposite of Yujiro Hanma and is kind, he is not selfish, he does not care if he has to lose and encourages Baki under form by spirit to defeat Yujiro.
