Zebra is one of the main protagonists of the anime/manga Toriko. He is a Gourmet Hunter and the strongest of the "Four Heavenly Kings" due to this power, battle experience and destructive capability.

He was voiced by Kenji Matsuda in Japanese and Alejandro Saab in English.

Overview

Easily the meanest of the Four Kings, Zebra is a prisoner from Honey Prison, the deadliest prison on the planet. He was put in there for eating 26 entire species into extinction, and has awful table manners and an even worse attitude. Yet, underneath it all, Zebra is a guy who isn't all that bad, and can be quite kindhearted to those around him. He has a strange hatred for "cocky" people, but like how Sunny can see different kinds of beauty as being valid, Zebra can see many different things as being cocky. This includes nature itself.

Zebra's strength is his incredible voice and hearing, as Zebra is able to project his voice out like a physical force and use it as a weapon. This has a ton of uses, from acting as a shield to being able to scan the area around him. His Intimidation takes the form of a humanoid creature with large, bat-like ears.

Appearance

Zebra is an incredibly large and muscular man. He is physically the largest of the Four Heavenly Kings, towering over the very large Toriko. Zebra's most distinct expression is his 'slasher smile', which he makes when it comes to fight opponents or to relish the battle.

Zebra is brutal and quick to anger. He hates cocky people and liars, even to the point of killing them.  However, he is honest and will never break a promise. He will also go out of his way to protect bystanders from fights.

Powers & Abilities

Echokinesis: Zebra hunts using his ability to create and manipulate sound waves through his super-humanly powerful voice, resulting in very powerful sound-based attacks and other abilities.

• Sound Bazooka: Zebra lets out a powerful scream that blasts outs in all directions.
• Thunder Noise: Zebra creates a "Cloud" of sound that falls on opponents in the form of thunderbolts.
• Voice Missile: Fires a beam of sound at enemy.
• Voice Cutter: Manipulate sound to slice his enemies.
• Sound Wall: Creates a Wall of Sound to block attacks.

Superhuman Hearing: Zebra has superhuman hearing. Toriko claims he can even her a coin drop from 10 kilometers away. He can even tell when someone is lying or is going to die.
