Zeta, formerly known as Lilim, is one of the main female protagonist of the light novel, manga, and anime series The Eminence in Shadow. She is the sixth member of the Seven Shadows of the Shadow Garden. She is the descendant of the legendary “Beastkin Hero” Lili. She is also the head of spying, exploration and espionage, as well as the leader and founder of her own secret sub-faction, because of the disagreement with Alpha's leadership.
She was voiced by Ayaka Asai in Japanese and Dominique Meyer in English.
Appearance[]
As a beastkin from the Golden Panther clan, she has blond white cat ears, white hairs, skin and purple eyes. Like other members of the Seven Shadows, her Seven Shadow dark uniform is a made out of black slime and has gold decoration across her arms and legs. And like most of her comrades, she has her chest area exposed in a diamond shape. Similar to Gamma she has a cape attached to the back her waist, covering the her tail. And she wears a pair of short heeled shoes with gold lines on it.
Aside from her Shadow Garden uniform, in her attire she wears a dark cape on the left side of her shoulder. A jacket cover her upper sternum with soft fur on her collar and waist.
Depending on the location she is, she'll often wear something different, especially in the anime. For example she was seen wearing a brown parka while observing penguins in Antarctica or if she was exploring a pyramid that is located in a jungle she would wear khaki shorts and a jacket with exploratory boots.
Personality[]
Compared to the other members of the Seven Shadows, she has much more hatred toward the Cult of Diablos, so much that she would sacrifice anyone's life to eliminate the organization.
In the anime, Zeta appear to be a hoyden who likes fighting similar to her fellow Beastkin Delta. Regardless of being a beastkin, who are species known to be untamed brutes, but Zeta is shown to be intelligent and strategic. She prefer to work alone, as she usually likes to her missions on her own and will only works with her comrades when ordered.
Zeta gets along well with the other members of Shadow Garden, although often falls into arguments or brawls with Delta, due to having little patience for Delta's impulsiveness and lower intelligence; it could also be that their beastkin classification are a cat and a dog, thus are naturally inclined rivals.
Trivia[]
- Because she is the sixth member to join Shadow Garden, her name is "Zeta" (ζ) since it's the seventh letter of the Greek alphabet.
- She doesn't get as much screen as other members of the Seven Shadows and looks she spent most of her time away from her master.
- Although ambiguous, Zeta is a cat beastkin.
