Zizzy is a major character in the Piggy franchise.
She is a former fencing coach and one of the two leaders of The Safe Place. She would end up encountering the player in the Carnival and would join them on their future endeavours, she is also a childhood friend of Pony and the older sister of Zee and Zuzy.
Apparance[]
She is a zebra. She has black stripes around her head and wears a magenta dress, and a purple musketeer hat with magenta feathers on it. She wields a fencing foil in her right hand and has a black stripe on her left arm and with purple leggings.
Story[]
Book 1[]
She is first seen at Chapter 8 Ending cutscene with Pony.
Chapter 9: Zizzy and Pony bring the Player to their Safe Place. However, the gate to the safe house is on fire and you have to venture an abandoned city to unlock the gate. After finally escaping, you chat with Zizzy and Pony about your lives before the infection, but suddenly you hear a noise behind the dumpster nearby and Zizzy goes with Player to find out what the sound was.
Chapter 10: It is a fairly simple map, but with twists and turns. We start off after Chapter 9, where the player follows a shadow to a mall, which turns out to be George Piggy. After that, they try to find the shadow. By unlocking the doors, the player finds George Piggy, confirming that he is alive and not infected. The player and Zizzy bring him to the safe house, and they meet Zee and Zuzy, Pony, and we have cameos of Giraffy (Character) and Mimi (Character).
Chapter 11: The Player, Zizzy, and Pony track Mr. P's helicopter signal to a military outpost. At the end, you get ready to go into the military base, but you find out George followed you. Pony and Zizzy stay behind to fight a crowd of soldiers who have gathered. The player and George go into the base, and they find Mr. P, except he is a cyborg. He passes them off as "the people he has let down in the past coming back to haunt him," and leaves. George and the player follow him and the transition to Chapter 12 begins.
Book 2[]
Alleys[]
Zizzy is the tritagonist of Book 2. She is not seen or mentioned in Chapter 1's gameplay, but she is in the ending cutscene. She asks the player if they want to go to the store to with her and Pony to find batteries for Mimi's radio, and the Player agrees.
Store[]
She is one of the 2 helpful NPCs of the map, the other being Pony. She will knock out Dessa (via kicking them due to the lack of her foil) if given grass. In the closing cutscene, she gives the batteries to Mimi and the radio starts working, sending a signal to Settlement Six, who tells them to meet at the Old Oak. Pony is unsure, but Zizzy is hopeful that it'll go well. However, she is captured by T.S.P at the meeting point and trapped in a room in the refinery.
Refinery[]
This chapter is her last main appearance in the franchise. She is seen in the white key room, fighting Poley and knocking him out. She sees Pony and the Player, and says that she has gotten used to enjoying fighting the infected. The Player says that they should leave, as TSP would know that something went wrong. Zizzy is hesitant, thinking that she might have torn her muscle, and she turns her arm around. It is scratched, meaning that she has been infected. She tells Pony and thePllayer to leave, saying that she doesn't want them both to see her become infected. Pony refuses this idea but has no choice. Pony and Zizzy hug, and the Player tells her to take care. Zizzy responds with "Good luck, you two. I'll miss you".
The Player and Pony arrive back at the safe place. Zee, Zuzy, George, Giraffy, and Mimi are already outside, and the player and Pony both keep their eyes closed. Zee is visibly angry due to her already being aware of the situation. A moment of silence is held in honour of Zizzy.
It is unknown if she truly became infected or not, as she is never officially seen as an infected anywhere in the franchise (other than the hidden ending, which is just an illusion of Zizzy created by TIO to mess with Zee's head).
Winter Holiday[]
Zizzy appears in the non-canon Winter Holiday chapter. The Player must find a fencing foil for her and her sisters as a Christmas Gift.
Distraction[]
Zizzy appears as the main protagonist for the Distraction Chapter. She is meant to create a distraction in the Refinery so the Player and Pony can escape. However, the refinery is more distorted and twisted, and she is chased by a hallucination of infected versions of her sisters. After completing this task, she escaped the Refinery only to encounter TIO. She is confused about who he is.
He explains to her his backstory and previous life as a person in the world she lives in. He also mentioned how he was a quiet young child, and mentions that Zee might end up just like him. Zizzy denies this, stating that Zee is nothing like him.
TIO eventually shows Zizzy an illusion (or what is believed to be one) of Pony. This causes Zizzy to be convinced to join him, but before she can shake his hand, she was grabbed by a mysterious black arm from behind and pulled back.
Hidden Ending[]
Zizzy briefly appear in the hidden ending post credits scene. She is seen (uninfected) with Pony and the Player.
Mansion[]
Zizzy appears in the Mansion end cutscene. After Zee and Zuzy escape Eddy's house, they run into her, waiting for them outside. Zizzy questions what they were doing in there, before Zuzy tries to blame Zee for the idea. Zizzy does not believe Zuzy, as Zee does not speak.
Eddy shows up and Zuzy starts to freak out. Zizzy, embarrassed and ashamed, apologizes to Eddy about everything, to which he forgives them. Zizzy asks where Pony is, as he was suppose to be watching the girls. Before it is revealed that he was in a bush looking for candy.
Zizzy takes Zee and Zuzy trick-or-treating and the cutscene comes to an end.
Trivia[]
- She is the 3rd character to become infected mid-storyline, the first being Doggy and the second being Bunny.
- Her infected counterpart was added with the release of Chapter 9, but her uninfected counterpart was introduced earlier.
- She can hold batteries in Chapter 2 - Store.
- She appeared in Distraction for the first time in many chapters (Other than winter Holiday).
