Zoe Orimoto (Japanese name: Izumi Orimoto) is a main character in Digimon Frontier. She is the only female of the group and holds the Spirits of Wind which holds the power of Kazemon.
Zoe is one of the digidestined, children who were chosen to receive the ability to transform into Digimon and save the Digital World.
She is voiced by Sawa Ishige in the Japanese Version and by Michelle Ruff in the English Version.
Zoe is a young girl with long blonde hair and green eyes. She wears a mauve cap with a purple trim and two points that resemble a cat's ears coming out of it. She also wears white and pink shoes and long purple socks. She wears a blue and white striped shirt under a mauve vest and a mauve skirt, and white underwear. Both the skirt and the jacket have white vertical stripes on the sides. Her shirt is cut to expose her belly button, and her jacket is also open.
She is a spunky and opinionated girl, the kind of person who doesn't go with the crowd, preferring to stick to her ideals. She is an open person who always speaks her mind, sometimes to the point of unintentionally insulting and alienating others. She is aware of J.P. Shibayama's crush on her, and though she thinks of him as a good friend, she doesn't return his feelings.
She was born in Japan, but she moved to Italy with her family when she was younger. The family lived there for two years, in which Zoe found herself fitting in, becoming fluent in Italian and even learning how to make Italian foods. However, as she returned to Tokyo, she found herself unable to understand the Japanese social codes and fit in, something her outspoken personality did not help. As a result, she was shunned by her classmates, and became quite lonely.
- She is similar to Sora Takenouchi from Digimon Adventure.
